Flowering without smell.

I'm growing Fuckingincredible indica dominate FEM. It is in flower now and there isn't any bad odors. I listed this here because this is important to a lot of people new or seasoned. Usually by now there is a smell on the leaves and one in the room. All I have is a normal house plant smell. This is supposed to be a strong one. I got it for its medical qualities. As long as there isn't any smell I think I found my favorite to grow.

I have 6 clones to take its place after harvest. The most I had going was 4 and they all got stressed out. Now I'm getting better ventilation better light and better humidity. It is nice when things all fall into place.

I will keep everybody posted on the smell issue if there is any or it stays good. I know I made a big statement. I will correct it if it fails.

Right now. If you can find this brand get it. It has been a pleasure to grow. This is the kind of medicine I need. Can't wait for my Gpro vapor gets here. I've smoked some. Not a fan of the burnt taste mixing in with the good taste. Another plus. This vape leaves the weed decarboxcilated. In other words. Ready for edibles. It still has life in it when you are done vaping it.

I'm saving my leftovers! They will be good.

There's no smell that you know of.

I've often wished for a 'smell' detector geared towards mj. Like litmus paper for smells. Or something.
I don't trust my nose.

My wife can tell if I took one hit and blew it out the window from another room. Her nose won't fail me. Its just so beautiful and perfect!

The last batch I had that I had to get rid of was making a smell so bad my throat was hurting from it. Right now. For this plant to be were its at and all cool. I can see many clones grown with this.

Thank you. Cool. It means I did everything right. I love that. Never heard that stress makes the stinks. But that makes sense.

The smell is produced inside the trichome head, it destroys plant tissue and bugs through apoptosis, this is one of many defense mechanisms. The plant is protected by the waxy head of the trichome, its quite non polar nature and dense neat structure keep it from allowing the alcohols esters terps cannabinoids etc from passing through. The plant should only smell if trichome heads are ruptured as if brushed against, wind could do this.also is if its too hot the waxy barrier becomes slightly looser and some compounds with a high vapor pressure may be released.

Over all it should not smell much. Smelling strongly does not equate to dank

This is good to hear. I have three strains/plants, in flower right now. I was starting to stress out because two of the three (Elephant and Alaskan Ice) don't smell at all. The Jedi Kush is nice and pungent and just rubbing the leaves produces a deep aroma. Making sense of the stress hypothesis. Although the smell was loud when stressed out by Neem and water washing. Glad to know I'm not completely screwing up my first grow.

Not to jinx it. This is my first harvest cure. I have grown so many that have turned out bad. Lets say cloning is my friend. If I can take her till the end. Oh boy!

Does anybody take a small jar from each plant and store it? Put date on it and all. It sounds like a cool idea. Then to taste it 2 years after cure. Just wondering.

Two years I dunno, smoked some from a harvest one year later. Goood. Gotta be stored well. Local recreational shops sell shit that was harvested like 8 9 months ago but its always dry as dog shit in the summer.

I have a problem is the first step to recovery.

So here's my problem.
6 plants
Cure for 1 .5 weeks
Day 1 trim 3 plants(no smell after in bag)
Day 2 trim 3 plants (really good smell)

So why did day 1 not smell and day 2 did?
Everything was ready for trim to my knowledge it was all crunchy.

If during trim their is no smell one day and during trim the next it smells great..you have found magic weed, dont let law enforcement catch wind..or lack thereof

Also dont wait till crunchy to trim or jar. Trimming should be done rigjt after harvest. You should jar before anything begins to crisp
