Flowering too tall, any way to stop

I am 14 days into flowering. I have 3 plants left (just removed a male this morning). I know 2 are female and the 3rd is iffy, but I should be able to tell tomorrow and will remove it if it is male.

They are growing much faster than I thought. I have them in a homebox XS and left for a 3-day weekend and they grew about 3 inches and the tops of my best female burned, but she is still fine.

I only have about 2 more inches to spare and have no way - in the next 3 weeks - to get them more height. They must remain in the homebox XS (2x2x4) at least for the next 3 weeks. I put some 1 inch chicken wire above them just below the light since I was freaked, but dont know if this will work or is wise.

Is there any to still get a half way decent crop, but prevent them from growing taller? I topped them before flowering, but am afraid to this late.

What is the best way for me to ensure I get something out of this? Should I try to just save one?

Can you tie the branches over and down in an arc so they are "U" shaped -use soft garden string if possible and pull them over as much as you can try at least to get the branches parallel to the soil. See under "LST" in FAQ.
I squeeze stems below buds and bend them over this slows them down and seems to strengthen the bud. See under "supercropping" in FAQ.
It can then be helpful to trim fan leaves that block each other, and remove little stems/buds that are getting in the way.
Good luck taming the beast.

thats what i would do, tie them down! You can go about it in a number of ways and i have always done it as early as possible but if you can put small holes in your pot and fit a string or rolls of bread ties that i get from the dollar store. Just do it slowly at this stage and i adjust slowly as the plant begins to get used to bending, good luck le us know what happens

You could also use a product called bushmaster, that's what I use in my tight space (6x7x4.5h) The stuff works great to stop all vertical growth immediately. I was in the exact same place as you...3 weeks in with no more room to spare. Send me a PM or something and I can probably be more specific if you have any more questions.

I did a bunch of the tying as you suggested and ordered some of the bushmaster and will use when it shows up. I am a little nervous about the tying since there now seems to be just a "sea" of green and no where for anything more to grow. Hope they start budding soon. Turns out all 3 left are female and the smallest is WW so I dont want to get rid of it. All plants look and smell great, but getting harder to work with in the small space.

Thanks for all the help. I will post the results as I see real changes.

You will love the bushmaster it works great, just be careful and don't use too much. It is really strong stuff. I have 6 AK-47 girls and I hit em 3 times. (2ml/gal, 3ml/gal, and then 5ml/gal) 5ml/gal really did the trick for me. If you use too much it will cause the "ram horns" effect your leaves curl under and turn dark green. It should be used with just water, no fertilizer. Just read the instructions they have online and you should be fine.
