Flowering....too Much Water??

I currently have a 4' Sativa doing a closet grow with 400w HPS. She's my only plant. Problem is she dries out FAST. I went from watering her every 4-5 days to every other day now. Room temp. is controlled, light is at a good distance, buds are budding, she is healthy! But the every other day watering has got me puzzled....does this sound right? Does she need that much water?? Any input would be helpful.

They need as much water as the roots take in, my plants need it every 2 days cause they just drink it up quickly, listen to your plants, water them as needed, there as guidelines sure but only you know from your individual situation what they are taking, if she's healthy just keep doing what your doing..

Plants take up a lot of water when flowering. Swim has 7 plants in an ebb & flow hydro system and swim needs to add 1-2 gallons to swim's reservoir every day.

I'm in the final weeks of flowering in two GH and add anywhere from half to three-fourths a gallon every other day. Sometimes I need to change out the res sooner because the ppm is diluted.

Thats normal...They need what they need..The bigger the more water..I've started at the 4 or 5th day thing and end up almost daily, granted that outside wind dries the soil quick, but if your plant wants it.....give it....I've only really heard of "watering " problems in young plants...Mine being outside get drowned sometimes by rain, and they love a good hosing down....
