flowering time

how many weeks for my white widow and church to flower?shud i be taken them down after 8 or 9 weeks?

In theory yes probably cos this is the stated flowering period for those strains i think. To check properly you need a means of magnifying the trics. Its all in the colour of the trics. Personally i just whip off a lower bud and smoke it to see if it ready!

Yeah those suggested growing periods completely depends on your growing conditions. Only way to really tell is to check out those pistils...if 50-80% of them have turned brown/red/whatevercolortheyaresupposetoturn start your ritual of drying/curing m8

You can't tell if bud is done by pistils.... its a slight indicator but very inaccurate

But you can tell if bud is done by trichome colors. You want no clear heads, all cloudy and most like a little amber heads in there to. Its all personal preference but please don't pull the puds based on hairs cause that is a myth.

If you have a Radio Shack near you you can pick up a pocket scope to check the trychs for ~$15. But be warned, dont look at them high. Its freaking hypnotizing!
