I got some of these for the same price at a lighting wholesale company in hollywood, ca. makes a huge difference indeed

i know this is off subject but i've had this problem for about 5 of my most recent grows, when i grow i have the light cycle on 18/6 when the light turns on from being in the off stage i walk into the horrible sight of all my little plants shriveled up... advice would be great

I use CFLs for side lighting. i do 9 at a time, 3x3 in 3.5 gallon pots. the center plant gets fimd and lstd to all hell to give 3-4 nice big clas, while the rest get bushy and dense as hell. the CFLs are around the plants with the base even with the canopy, pointing downwards. i since got reflectors and changed the setup around slightly.
