Flowering Stage

I've had my plant growing under a grow light from a hardware store for about 40 days, would it be time to start flowering?

Post a pic of your plant and we can tell you if its ready or not.

is there any little hairs on it? are there any buds? or are there some nut sacks if you was to post pictures we could be of more use good luck and happy growing

I have another problem pending, my plant looks as if it is going to DIE!!

Dude, just go buy some cfls from a store. They will work MUCH better than that dumb ass light. I seen one at my local hardware store, I thought about it, then laughed.

you never did say what kind of light you are using...my hardware store sells a 250w hps light as well as others...if it is a hps light it doesnt need to be within 14 to 16 inches from your plants...if it is cfl 1 inch is where it needs to be...also for the flor tubes...did your plants do this after you moved your light?or did you move it?...getting info would help us help you

thought about that, its been working perfect up until recently, i just don't think its the light, cause it sits in a window as well, so it also has the sun hiting it to

its a 250w hps its about 12 inches away from the plant

you sure it's a 250w High Pressure Sodium? that plant would be much larger are bushier at 40 days. was it just a bulb that fits in a normal light outlet? Looks like heat stress I'm sure the Al foil doesn't help any. Just trying to help you grow good smoke...

i've got a 250w light held 13 inches above it, has had no changes, i've not moved it, it just started looking ill one day

any chance in a recovery?

lay off on the watering, and move the light closer, a fan helps the plant build its strength up too. ull get a thick stalk if u keep blowing air on it.
