There greenhouse feminized jack here so unless theres been a mixup at the packing facility i am stumped. They have never seen less than 18hours of light a day. What do i do? Assume their autos and grow accordingly or they are still photoperiods and this thing is normal?Auto? What's your light schedule? Definitely looks like it's into flowering.
I have 2 from the same packet of seeds and it looks like both are the exact same. What do you think of the second plant below? Could this just be strong pre flowering and be a characteristic of this strain and its nothing to worry about or are these best to be chopped down?Sounds like you have more than one going and flowering? If so are they different strains or same seeds/pack?
If they are autos and they've been flowering at 16/8 you can leave them or even increase the light schedule. If you have multiple plants that are flowering on you and have a separate space for flowering maybe try moving one into 12/12 and leave one at 16/8 to monitor their progress. They're into flowering now so there's no way to reverse that, just a matter of finding out the best way to finish them.
Even if they're autos (mix up at the breeder/packaging), they'll flower at 12/12 or even 13/11. it's just more efficient to give autos more light since they'll flower regardless.
They have been under 18/6 since germination and are about 3-4 weeks from breaking the soil. Dont you think thats really soon to be flowering? Im hoping it does and this is just a characteristic of this strain.Having a better look at them they don't look like they're full on flowering, could be just the strain and pre-flowering. If you've had them in veg for a long time at 16/8 they can do that and once they start you're best bet is to throw them into a flowering room (12/12) if they're photos.
They could be photos, if you veg them for long enough, eventually they'll start pre-flowers that look like that (first one seems a little far into it, but could still be considered pre-flowering).
Have you had them going for a while?
Wow this is a tough one, if they've only been 4 weeks since they popped I'd be betting they're autos. I've seen several strains/phenos pre-flower similar to yours but only if they'd been above ground for a long time (8+ weeks) and I was holding them back for space etc. They have been under 18/6 since germination and are about 3-4 weeks from breaking the soil. Dont you think thats really soon to be flowering? Im hoping it does and this is just a characteristic of this strain.
Yeah it is weird, very early for pre-flowering, that's not usual but there are so many variations in strains it could be early pre-flower or an auto. Only way to really find out is leave them a bit and see if full flowers develop in which case it's an auto.I dont understand how they could be induced into preflower with a continous 18/6 schedule. I'll have to run with it and find out, even if it yields next to nothing it may be worth the experience of seeing the stages of development and outcome.
Is this rare? I checked my seed packet, definitely greenhouse seeds jack herer feminized.
