Flowering plant questions

So I have a tree that has been flowering for about 10 weeks now. The trichomes seem to be at the point where I should be chopping the plant but the fan leaves have not changed at all. Is this normal? Its a nice looking plant about 16 inches tall with nice fluffy buds and all the pistils have changed colors to a nice orange/brown. The trichs are milky white with about 10-25% amber...but all the leaves are still a deep green. I've been flushing...input plz.

I actually had this happen on a plant i had outside, i'm not sure if it's normal for the plant or what, but i flushed with pure RO water for 2 weeks and never had my fan leaves change colors like they usually do. I"m guessing this is normal, i used almost all organic nutes, it was bagseed so don't know much about the strain but it smells great so far! no piney/hay smell which i've had in the past when i used fertilizer to close to the end without flushing enough. you should be fine, just keep flushing!

So if my pistils are turning orangish brown should I stop using fertilizer and just water?? It smells really good and the leaves are yellowing and I'm pulling them off...had a little mold on 2 plants but cut it out....I figured I had another month to go???
