Flowering Outdoor Vanilla Kush

My VK is about 6-7 inches and I want to begin flowering. What are the best methods to force flower an outdoor plant? Black trash bags? Upside down garbage can? I don't want to start until I know of the most efficient way to go about doing this. Any replies are appreciated.

If it is outside then you basically need to build a light proof barrier all the way around it. Then just give it 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark each day, at the same exact time each day. That induces flowering, the 12/12 simulates changing of the seasons and tells the plant to stop growing and start budding. This is the only way to induce flowering outside if there is more than 12 hours of light per day.

I would think you would get flowers this time of year if she's ready to flower because there is only about 10 hours of light a day right now in the US. I had my plant outside (she's about 2-3 months old) and she started showign a bit of flowers. I have to bring her in at night now to get her to veg.

yeah this time of year usually will induce flowering outside by itself, but remember, in a month or so the season will be changing agai, Giving more than 12 hours of light. so you dont want to start in 12/12 and then work up to more hours of light. This can cause hermies and all sorts of other wierd shiz-nit ha ha....

Its in a greenhouse about 3.5' ft tall so maybe I can throw a tarp over it during the night cycle but I'm afraid that some light will come thru. I think I might bring it inside for 12 hours a day and make sure its complete darkness to be safe.

I am going to run into the same problem because the days start getting longer in late march and I wanted to flower outside.

I think I am going to veg my big plant and let my little ones stay outside throughout the summer and flower in fall. Seems soooooo far away :(
