Flowering my mother plant

I ended up having 20 clones, which is too many for my closet. I have 12 plants in 2 gallon containers and just started flowering yesterday.

I've decided to take one of the remaining 7 and make it my next mother. She's in 2 gallon containers and doing quite well.

My other mother is 3.5 feet tall and needs to be in another container. Is it worth just setting her in the corner? I know she won't produce as much since she's not directly under the light. But some bud is better than no bud, the way I look at it.

I'm using the fox farm trio and soluables. Yesterday I hit them with the first week flowering schedule, as well as a tsp of grow big, just for the hell of it.

i would put the clones in the corner and flower the mother . depends how she is topped from you cutting on here . quality yield will be slightly higher from the mom if every plant were the same .

I agree with bryan. Id put the mother in the center then put the clones around her. So the mother is the focal point with the most light with her little babies around her base.
