yeah not 12 12 a light change from the current is all that is needed.
My experience in the NW is most strains start showing pistils by August 10th, some earlier.

Everything depends on your strain. When you shop for outdoor seeds, shoot for those that finish in late Sept.

Agree with the strain aspect. 8-10 weeks is the norm for most indica strains grown in my part of Oregon (SW) with pre-flowering beginning last week of July-first week of August.

While our normal first frost date is mid-October on everyone holds their breath from the middle of September in fear of a historical 10% first frost in late September.

OK, so I now have female flowers showing, actually I saw the pistils about a week ago. I am worried that I will get a good show of buds , and then a frost will hit before they produce any trichomes, and rot them all............ so I took clones ,and have them inside now. MY MAIN QUESTION WAS , CAN I EXPECT TO SEE A HARVEST >from the outdoors grow? If you know the Olympic Peninsula you know that our summers pretty much suck .

Pacific NW and growing good. My g-13 showed pistils on July 27th. They all have mult. pistils right now. so in my case I seen first single pistils on 7-27. then first mult. pistils 8-8

Then again I got...

One plant that just started showing pistils a few days ago.

Here is what I saw on the g-13 a few days ago.
