Flower Leaves Look Bad

Folks, trying to figure out what is going on with my kids that are in their 5th week of flowering. I'm growing indoors in a DWC setup and I'm suspecting nute burn but I needed some expert advise as this just seemed to appear in 24 hrs. Only one flower has the severe condition, others are more like the second pic with their tips browning. I have also notice yellow/brown spots developing on some of the older growth as well. Please let me know what you think or if anyone needs additional info. Thanks

Guessing a calcium def.

We would drain the rez and fill it with straight water and give it a day to see if it's drinking. Once it starts drinking we reintroduce nutes to the system. Ph adjustment may be needed if the problem returns.

If it drinks right away it's in need of more cal/mag, if it doesn't cal/mag was locked out.

So I use RO water and add 2.5ml/gal of CaliMag at each rez change which is every 7 days. Ph has been steady at 5.8-5.9 for weeks but it sounds like you think it may be locked out? Or I may have to up the CaliMag?

Are you saying if it does not uptake water immediately it was locked up?

From lockout of from to low of a dosage, either way it looks to be cal/mag deficient.

The safest rout to see if it is locked out is to change rez to straight water. If it drinks up right away it's a straight up deficiency, if it takes a few days to drink normal it was locked out.

If it drinks right away up your dosage of cal/mag when you add your nutes back to the system.

Wow, makes good sense now. Is it OK to add a little clearex to the RO PH'ED water change for the rez?

We would just add straight/ro water. Makes it easier to diagnose. Maybe if it doesn't drink right away to speed it up but wouldn't do it right off.
