My best friend was over today and told me the same order she got from Tilray for $80 is now $400 and she will be on the waiting list for a few months before she MIGHT get her order.

Guess who just signed on to get what she needs from the guy who has for 10+ years always covered/coveted her cute little buns. She's a tiny little hottie gramma at 55 and I'm a horny old hippy grandpa at 62.

My own best cross is also hers and my current grow is it crossed with an auto so I can do some outdoor next year with the F2/F3 beans of it. At close to 60 degrees north regular plants just won't work.

Two weeks ago I sent her home with about 100mls of my 20:1 cocobudder made with regular pot and a 50ml sample of my hi-CBD cocobudder. Like me she loves the hi-CBD one for all day pain relief with the gentle buzz. The reg stuff kicks her ass like it does to me but does work for at least a day to kill pain.

I just spent close to 2G to expand my 15 yo personal grow to serve people like her and my promise is to always be at least 50% cheaper than any LP. She already knows that I will never, ever use any sprays of any kind on my buds.

I am a real scientist with a diploma in Environmental Chemistry and I got that by going back to school in my early 30s and toughing out 3 years of uni level chemsci worth 2 years credit in any university of merit in the world. Other than being a decent single dad for ten years it's the accomplishment I'm most proud of and wish my dad had survived to be at my convocation with my mom who turned 89 when I was out in BC helping her downsize last August when I got my 8g/day from a doc in Vernon.

Babbling now so other than a big THUMB'S UP! I'll exit stage left.

With how easy it is to cultivate. There's really no need for us to go to vendors.

I'm a new grower. Not even through my first run yet. But, I still think it's a cheaper alternative to buying.

mean. $10-20 a gram... That's ridiculous. Grown outside in the right conditions. It's free. Grown indoors with good lighting and nutrients. Still works out cheaper than paying for it.

Sure the initial cost may come to around 2-4 ounces. But still... after that. You've got all the shite you need to grow pounds of the stuff.

Absolutely....I haven't been able to grow since June and the cost is crazy to pay for it all especially here in Whitehorse...I am grateful to have another patient who understands my sitch and offers it to me for about $3.50/g. Are their any LPs offering it for that much? My friend doesn't need to see my tax return either.

Damn. $3.50 per gram! Lucky bugger.

There's no legal vendors where I am. But, I'd bet my left nut they wouldn't sell for any less than $10-15 per g, if there were any.

I'm an advocate of this wonderous plant. Regardless whether it's recreational or medicinal use. I'm for both camps on this one.

Lies are hard to keep track of and eventually come back to bite you in the ass. Lying to cops is A-OK but how could you lie to a friend and really be a friend. Just doesn't work.

My best buddy, part of a gay couple, is what most would call a stoner but he's self-medicating to deal with his Hep-B and serious depression that his/my doc has him hooked on Cymbalta to deal with. His partner doesn't toke at all where he will hoover down joints all day long if he has it. They had a roommate 10 years ago that left all his grow gear there which is finally over here so I can kick my growing up to the next level.

Neither one of them are into learning how to grow pot decently but have been growing a few plants in a small greenhouse all summer then bring them inside to flower in the 8x4' tent in the basement. All covered in mites, thrips and other wildlife. I helped them repot and get rid of the bugs recently and he managed to get about half a pound off the 8 plants. We are working out a deal where they come over and help trim and the one guy gets all the pot he needs and I'll toss some cash to the other guy commiserate with the time he puts in helping out. With the new trimmer I bought it should be easy to process the 2lbs/month I'm aiming for.

Learning new stuff has always been something I strive for. It's getting harder as I get older but I'm certain that it will help keep my mind sharper and fend off the dementia that killed my birth mother at 75. I only found out about her a couple years ago when I finally searched out my roots thru the adoption reunion registry in BC where I was born in '54. My two sisters and three brothers were unaware of my existence and after some email contact with the one sister that lives closest to me things have drifted off. They can't tell me anything and don't seem to be interested in getting to know me so it's been over a year since I last heard from her and that's fine with me too. I'm open to contact but not going to harp on things. I have two younger sisters I grew up with to deal with as it is. One that is 2 years my junior was adopted but the nice one that is 5 years younger was birthed by my mom that just turned 89 in August while I was out there for 5 weeks helping her move out of her big, beautiful house on the hill above Peachland into a 5th wheel trailer parked on a slab at the nice sister's acreage on the mountain south of Kelowna, BC.

Cultivating isn't possible for a lot of people for many reasons. The initial outlay for a garden stops many and even if they can afford the gear they often live somewhere that growing isn't feasible. Many have black thumbs and can't grow any plant at all. Disabilities stop a lot but I met a guy last August that runs a house full of plants from his custom built wheelchair and really makes me think twice before whining about how my arthritis bothers me.

Growing your own is still the cheapest way to go whether in or outdoors. There's also the satisfaction factor that plays a big part and keeps me in the game. I grew my first buds in '78 and don't plan to stop anytime soon.

Fuck anyone selling for more than $4/gram. I see dispensaries just like these LPs, greedy as fuck and out to rape Canadian patients. If you're buying product for $1gram wholesale and selling it $10 retail, you're a piece of shit just like the LPees. I stopped in a 'Weeds' the other day. Some teenager with a cold (she was coughing) filling bags with her bare hands (the same one she was coughing into). Fugging dizz-cussting. and the weed was larfy and stemmy.

No shit man! I got the same kind of deal at the WeeMedical dispensary in Aldergrove, BC in August. I popped in to check out their stuff and just bought a gram of GSC. The dude there pushed for me to get an eighth for $30 and I wish I'd taken the deal. The girl that was serving me first and signing me up could have sold me the store! 30 something East-Asian girl that hit all my horny buttons at once and I'm 62!

No one used any PPE of any kind and the girl could have been coughing up a lung for all I cared.

I had a pound of my home-grown at home and was just buying grams for testers. The best I got in Kelowna was some Sweet Skunk CBD. Loved the tokes off the original gram so bought 10g to bring home and make cocobudder with. $9/g but worth every penny for it's medicinal qualities!

Boycott in 2017...don't mask your intelligence.......grow your own or buy from anyone but LP's...Happy New Years to all the smart folks.

Aurora charges $5/g if you ae low income or have a disability. Don't know about others.
And of course is a tax write off/medical expense.
