Florida Petitions for ballot proposals

There are two petitions currently circulating to legalize marijuana in Florida. This story explains what is going on currently.

I'm totally confused at the moment. I will have to sort all this out before posting the petition site to make sure it is the one that will allow home growing. Evidently one does not support it but the other does.

OK, after reading the news articles once again I got figured out.
Petition 1: created by the group "Make it Legal Florida" allows 2.5 ounce possession from legal dispensary and other licensing items.
Petition 2: created by the group "Regulate Florida" allows one ounce possession and the home cultivation of six plants with no licensing items.
Neither petition has any language regarding past offenses.

My opinion:
Why on earth create legislation without home cultivation? It's a great hobby and just downright pretty to look at.
It's a tragedy that no one is paying attention to the fact many are still plagued with problems existing from past offenses. They are nothing but poor souls who have done nothing to anyone and asked to pay a high price for it. It would be great improvement for either petition to pass but let's face it for home growers "Regulate Florida" at least has our back on that. For more info a link is posted below.
