Florida Outdoor 2009

I'm growing outdoors in East Central Florida. I'm growing Satavia "Marley" any idea when I can expect flowering to begin? The seed bank said 10-12 weeks to flower so I guess even if they started now it will be late October or sometime in November before I harvest.

I have 2 seed germinated females and one clone from the first topping. Pics soon.

I'm growing in 2 1/2 gal pots in case I need to move them due to a hurricane etc. Lookks good so far with multiple topping on the 1st two and Im letting the clone grow straight. All are alternating. The un topped clone actually has as many side branches as the topped ones! and is quickly passing the first two in height. I think the fact that the satavia has long intervals between the leaf nodes combined with the great weather we have had so far (plenty of rain and great florida sun) the leaf nodes are all sending up strong new branches.

I have been toppiing the other two repeatedly to keep the height down.

Older420.. flowering had started today. you should be seeing pistils soon.

b0bdyl4n420.. welcome, yea the cages are so my dog dosent eat my plants.

wyteboy.. its regular scotts potting soil with perlite, peat moss, hydroton, and home made compost.

Your grow is awesome dude. Love the bush. I'm a second time very small grower... indoor mainly, but using lots of natural light to avoid paying for electricity.

Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see harvest.

thanx NC, i dont think theres a way to make it flower faster outside unless you somehow can control the hours of light it gets outside.

where you at middle of august is flowering time for most northern part of the us???

im in miami, yea they have been flowering but the strains are very sativa dominant. they are shooting out a few pistils but im just now starting to see a real change. ill take some close up shots of the pistils later.

My three outdoor central Florida potted Sativa girls just started flowering. Just like you said they would. Now if I can catch the frigging animal that took off two of my lower branches ....and didn't even eat all he took!

I even have the pots well off the ground susppended in the viney overgrowth which makes me think its possibly a stoned raccoon.
