Floralicious Plus Foliar

Anyone out there that can share their experience with Floralicious Plus? I'm particularly looking to know about how it is as a foliar spray. If you have used it, how long have you foliared with it into flower? Are there any special methods you did with it like spray the plants and then spray with regular water to wash them off?

Ive used it in my hydro grows but havent used it as a foliar spray. It adds to the flavour of the bud and helps it fight disease but thats about it. It is potent stuff though mate so if using for foliar spray i would use it very sparingly, like 0.1mL per litre...

I too use it in my hydro set up, I feel it enhances the growth and does add to the flavor, never did foliar feed it nor do I ever foliar feed my plants I don't think it helps and may cause mold, especially during flowering.

Never used that product but I do foiler feed, (weak epsom) and with my setup the girls love it. As stated I also am reluctant to do in flower.

I'm learning more about foliar feeding lately and I find your post interesting.

You foliar feed in veg with the epsom salt to provide magnesium, so you don't have to supplement with a synthetic nutrient salt? I've been recently reading the benefits of epsom salt and am very interested in this substance. Do you have to rinse the foliage after applying a foliar treatment to prevent the stomata from clogging?

I'm a real newb so just relaying what seems to help. I did have a mag deficiency and I think the issue is high calcium in the water causing lockout. After applying the spray they did much better. I also mixed in a very small amount of a growth stimulant.

I would just water it in as the foliar application actually calls for more to be used.

I foliar spray up until day 21 into flower and never have any ill effects, but I do have over the top ventilation in my tents and use preventative products when it comes to the risk of mold.

Do you ever apply a rinse to the foliage? I'm really miffed by this lower foliage leaf drop and shriveling I experienced today after 2 foliar feedings of floralicous plus and seagreen (2 feedings combined). I rinsed with plain water and time will tell if this problem will become worse or has been resolved. Just when ya think you have things figured out, life throws another curve ball at ya.

By the way, I also grow in tents and I have 2 400CFM fans exhausting both. I also have a 200CFM inline fan feeding intake air to the flower tent. Ventilation is the holy grail of an inside grow. Good to know other people feel the same way I do

I never rinsed but I sprayed just before lights out as well.

Do you know the pH of that mixture? I want to say it could be pretty acidic because of the humic acid content in both of those products.

Also I have been using seagreen for quite and while and have to say it is much better used in the root zone(unless in hydro). I did a run without just that a few crops ago and the size and health of my roots were drastically smaller and not as white, and my yield went down slightly. It also has properties that breakdown salts, so that is also another reason to run it in the root zone.

With 8-10 week strains nothing sprayed on them past day 21. I stay away from genetics that flower longer than that, so I cant speak for how to go about your pure sativa's.

What kind of foliars do you use and how often once you start to see buds, after say week #1 of flower?

Yeah that's the pre-chop pic from the journal in my sig...

I use H16 foliar+Bushido Stash in Veg every 10 days, and use Bud Factor X for the first 3 weeks in bloom every 6-7 days.

i know this is a old thread but i was wondering how well u like the bud factor x? i got a 500ml bottle to test out and my ladies have just started to flower,so im hoping to see some extra trich action from it

I found mixing 1 cup insect frags per cubic foot of soil works a lot better.

i got frass been watering it in and gonna use the bud factor x as folair. i was doing folairs with the frass but it clogs my sprayers evertime so i had to get something that had chitosan that would be easy to spray. either way i dont think that 31$ for 500ml is alot of money bc im only doing 15 plants so i prolly coulda got by with the 250ml since im using 2 teaspoon of frass in each gallon of water to water it in...i also just got in 250ml of big bud,overdrive and flawless finish. lol i figured since everone hates on AN and since i had never used them before i would give them a try. i think i spent a total 85$ for nirvana 1 liter,500ml of bud factor x,250ml of b-52,250ml of big bud,250ml of overdrive and 250ml of flawless finish,so well worth if it works so we shall see. thanks for letting me know how u liked the frass

I can tell you first hand, that guys stuff is very water soluble.
Here's a ppm chart for the water soluble Chitosan:

I haven't tried more than 200 ppm for foliar.
I just ordered a grip of it from China, it's less than half the price, but I haven't messed around with it yet, to recommend it.
