Hello - i used the G.H. three part in my grow journal grow (in my sig) - it is highly detailed and documents exactly how much i added and when BUT i made a lot of mistakes.

Luckily - G.H. is VERY forgiving when overnuting but do not get in that habit. If you really want to understand how much to feed them then you'll need to study the following links...
CC Hydro 101 by Earl - Cannabis Culture Forums

and an alternate feeding plan...

I have a clone system that I'm tryin to grow hydro seeds off. I have all the essentials. My question is after seeds germinate and are ready to go. Do I place the seeds in peat pellets and place the peat pellets inside my rock wool? Need serious step by step help someone

im using these nutes now. My understanding is not to mix any together UNDILUTED. I just add each to the water separately and its all good.

With GH 3 part you do mix all 3 together, it's just how it's done that's important so they don't lock each other out. You need to ALWAYS mix the Micro first ( in your container of water ), then Grow, and finally your Bloom.

could you elaborate on the not mixing these three products together? do I need 2 or 3 different buckets of water for this?

No you dont need different buckets, just use one bucket. From what I read about mixing instructions.

Directions for Mixing

Shake bottles well before mixing.
1. Always add FloraMicro first to fresh water and mix well
2. Then FloraGro mix well
3. And then FloraBloom

NEVER ADD OR MIX THE NUTRIENTS IN THEIR CONCENTRATED FORM!

I used the pre-measured packets from Stealth Hydroponics for my last grow and it said to mix and add the Micro last. I did that the whole grow and everything went fine.....go figure.

Ok, So if you have a 3 part system...these are made up numbers for example....say you mix 10mL/gal of grow...you DONT want to put 10mL of bloom into the same gal...because that's not 10mL/gal anymore...you are then skewing your NPK ratio and making the solution more concentrated...you would want to mix the gals separately and then you can add THOSE concentrations together to get you final solution. SO...you would put 10mL/gal bloom and another 10mL/gal grow in another gallon for a total of 2 gallons, and another 10mL/gal of micro for 3 separate gallons...you can then mix 1/3 of those gallons together to get your final feeding solutions..you have to remember that N-P-K ratios are by WEIGHT not volume...

Fox Farm for example...grow big 6-4-4...6% of the liquid quart isn't nitrogen...6% of the 2 lbs that the Quart weighs is nitrogen..i.e.
1 quart = 946 mL...the weight on the package is 2lbs...some other fertilizers weight differently...Natures Nectar N,P,K line weighs different for a quart than fox farm...so, on the grow big,
its not 6% of 946 mL, it's 6% of the 2 lbs.

If you mix the 10mL/gal and the concentration is 6-4-4 and then you add something else like bloom to the same gallon, the 10mL of added bloom isn't the same concentration anymore because there is already a concentration of 6-4-4 in the gal...
I hope that makes sense...
right now I am using fox farm and natures nectar for supplementation if need be..and I mix by liters...because there are about 4 liters in a gallon rounded up...so i can use something like 5mL/L of N, 5mL/L of P, 5mL/L of K, and 5mL/L of micro and put it into the same gallon to feed, for example...

Question, Im going to start giving my plants some nutrients soon and am going to be using the Flora series from GH, wondering weather just to follow the directions on the bottle?, mix small amounts of all three?? What sort of success ppl have had with this stuff??
Mix in the proper amount of Micro first, then Grow and Bloom separately and check bottle lebel
