I grow in 100% perlite and water 6 times while lights are on for flowering. 30 min when the light first comes on, 30 before they shut off. Should be the same or less! Watering every other hour.

Holy shit I have the timer set for 4 x day 30min eaxh time.
So I might be under watering them thanks DeweyKok for the reply.
But I would like to here someone that's using hydroton. Is perlite the same issue with hydroton?

i use RW blocks in buckets of hydroton and i flood for 15 min 3 times a day. 30 minutes is too long IMO, if you can get your table to fill in less time i would flood for less time.

I'm only using hydroton without rockwool the clones were in ez cloner stright into hydroton and in square pots. When you say fill in less time you mean getting a stronger pump?

Yes, I can flood my whole table in 2 minutes, and drain it in 6 minutes. If your roots are under water for 30 minutes, your going to kill them. They need to breath!

People have success with 30 min floods right now as we speak there are being flood 4x day for 30min each time when do you think I'll see results if I'm over or under watering my plants?

30 minutes is about at the threshold of your roots tolerance. they will be able to take it if you run airstones but its not recomended. it sounds like you run your pump for 30 though, then you have drain time which i probably similar to fill time. 45-60 min is WAY to long to submerge your roots. once your tray is full keeping it full is pointless, your media has soaked up nute solution and now needs airflow, drain as soon as its full.
