Hi everyone,
Currently I have around 3 week old seedlings. I introduced the first shot of nutrients 5 days ago. The plants are looking really good right now. All leaves are very uniform and pointing up towards light with a beautiful luscious green color.

I have been flooding my table for 15 minutes each cycle 4 times a day. Will this much feeding cause root rot? They never droop after waterings but I am worried that the roots will rot. When I pull the net pots out of the table and look to see if hydroton is dry only the bottom 3 inches are wet. I checked this minutes before its scheduled feeding.

Any advice would help. I was considering dropping it to 3 times a day. Also, my light schedule is 24/0.

Thanks everyone!:joint:

Clean water/res is key to prevent root rot. short frequent watering is better 3-4 times during the day is fine. let the plants rest 18/6...

No, not unless you have a medium that will hold water. The water just needs to stay cool and aerated - look at DWC systems.

I'd almost tell you to flood more, but thats hard to do without knowing your medium.
