flood and drain dried out

Yesterday there was a malfunction on the pump. In fact a small power outage had allowed the remote control to drop back to an off position at 1900 stopping the timer. Just discovered this at 1000. Capillary root mat died. Bone dry and brown. Plants still ok and happy with h enough moisture from the pebbles and cubes.
What emergency rooting hormones or other aids can I get to quickly reestablish the capilliery system? Just one week into full flower. I need to make this one count. And that remote control is getting removed till I get a UPS on the pump circuit.

If anyone is wondering why I had remote its to kill all the noisy stuff if there was an unexpected guest. I also have now started modding them to work in reverse and avoid this happening again: plug in remote control sockets are all generic. 4 Chan's and 4 buttons on remote. To mod for DEFAULT ON unclip the plug surround and undo the 2 torx screws. Open the case. Find the relay which is the big square brick. Desolder carefully avoiding the heat fuse zip tied to the side. The relay is an NO type with no NC connection. One end is 3 wires in a row. The other end is 1 in one corner. In the other empty corner you must GENTLEY cut back the plastic until you can just see metal. This is your NC. Solder a wire to this. Cut off the opposite NO wire and route your new NC to this position. Now resolder the relay and reassemble the device paying care to the small rotary switches at the rear. Now your unit should switch off when you command ON and vice versa. ON is now the kill switch. If power fails and is then restored your fans and pumps will default to ON and your plants will be ok. Unlike mine.
