Flaws in my rosin making process?

CANNABIS: How to make rosin from flower bud? Flaws in this process?
I want to make my own dabs from my bud and have never done it before. I looked online for easy ways and this is the method I came up with. Can somebody tell me if theres anything wrong with this process?:

Materials:
1. Bud
2. Flat Iron
3. Teabags
4. Parchment paper
5. Dabber tool.
6. Grinder

Procedure in chronological order:
1. Grind up weed
2. Pour semi powdered weed into an empty tea bag (like a little less than half way
3. Fold tea bag over its self so no weed falls out.
4. Put teabag of weed in center of a folded peice of parchment paper
5. Put flat iron to lowest temperature.(or if I has a select tempature put it at 275F)[flat iron will be known as "press"]
6. Put the parchment paper containing the weed teabag between the press.
7. Put lots of pressure on the press to ooze out the oil. (I was thinking of putting it on the ground and standing on the press to really squeeze it out. I was going to do this until I hear sizzling or see vapor/smoke rise even the tiniest bit.)
8. Scrape off the oil with the dabber to collect it.
9. Repeat steps 1-8 for more rosin chips. (My rosin chips will obviously include the teabag)
10. Put one rosin chip over another and into another parchment paper
11. Try to squeeze even more oil out of it from the press.

So if theres any improvements to be made in this procesure let me know.

I don't use a tea bag,and you don't stand on the press.I only use plain parchment paper,it works fine on it's own.

Do not grind up the weed unless you like green rosin. Using a flat Iron its not really necessary to use teabag as cant use more then .3-.5 at a time.

tea bags are horrible for pressing rosin...use quality parchment paper. Definitely don't grind the bud up either.

You can use the leftover pressed bud to make tincture, or to use in making edibles.

Pressing buds will get you a very SMALL amount of rosin, pressing bugs is worthless unless you have a large amount. The return is so minimal it's not even worth it unless you're using the expensive rosin presses and huge amounts of flower. I would suggest finding a different way to make concentrates.

Thats not exactly true. i have seen yields of 30%+, that would be considered outstanding by most standards.

also, its the only organic solution.

you could push your yields even further with pressing kief instead of bud.

This Is not necessarily correct I was hitting 20-25% pressing same as when I used solvents. It does take forever to press out a decent amount with flat iron tho.

I like it , any 1 got pics of finished product from this method ?
The whole dab thing hasn't really took off where I'm from , it's something I'm dying to try lol

i have seen people break the plastic around the heating element of that hair straightener, and use a vice to apply pressure.

How does this differ from "shatter" ? Is it just the process of which it's made ? ..

Definitely be sampling when my plants finished :)

Shatter is extracted through solvents (butane), and rosin through heat and pressure...i have tried both, and the high is about the same...either way will get you stupid high.

I've done water hash, making cannabutter, ISO oil, and butane.

By far butane is my fav method. In my opinion it is the easiest method and gives best results.

You can make a homemade tube pretty easy and then will just need some good butane.

ISO works good too, it's jus more time consuming to get the good oil from.

Btw, I've always had good results with very dry and fine ground material. Anytime I've used less broken up, not really dry/or fresh frozen, it's always given me crappy yields and cost me more $ in butane
