i have heard that you can clip the early male bud, and it will bud like a female. does anyone know if this is true?

Maybe there is a way of stressing the male into a hermy, I know it can be done almost too easily with the fem's, I'm not sure about the males. I suppose that if it can be done then by clipping all the male parts you'd be left with just the females.

More than likely though you'll just end up with a useless plant.

This is interesting. I just found what looks like an early male in my garden. Maybe I should try this.

Would I just have to shave off the male pods with a razor and keep it under 12/12?

No this is not true!!!! if you clip off the pollen sacks they will just grow back but double as much!!it is also way too easy to miss one! and missing one could polenate your females and turn your whole crop to seed, so get that male out of there!
