General Statement:
I have been enjoying this whole experience thoroughly; I love to make things, I find the concept to be very interesting, and everything has been very therapeutic. The challenges I have faced in order to make this a stealth operation, have been a fun mcgiver. Other than the construction aspect of the endeavor, I have learned so much from this genius horticulturist guy I met at the local hydroponic store. After experiencing the depth of my situation I leaned that there is so much more than just physical gain in a situation like my own...Their presence causes a feeling of curiosity, astonishment, and extreme peacefulness which allows the mind to flourish. Having the opportunity to experience this in the comfort of my own room has been such a pleasure.

The everything Else:
This is a stealth grow. I have a 20"x30"7' grow area lined in plastic (black/white). I have a 1hp inline fan sucking out the hood of my 250hps light. Due to the circumstances I decided to go with a scrog setup to get maximum efficiency out of my light. This will be my 4 1/2 grow, and my second time doing scrog method. I picked up 5 Sour Diesels from 'Mr Clones,' a registered club distributor. Not only did Mr Clones hook it up with some legit ass plants, but he had an abundance of information to share. I have never met somebody so passionate about their work, I was a bit envious. He was nearly offended when I informed him my room would not be filtered.

>>Picture 1 and 2: I first planted the clones in 18oz red cups--cut holes in bottom.

>>Picture 3: After I transplanted to 1 gallon Arrowhead bottles--cut holes in bottom.

>>Picture 4: Right before I transplanted into my 3 gallon square pots.

**I always kept my plants in as small of a container as the plant's roots would permit (soon as they became root bound I would gently transplant to a larger container--square pots have most soil volume). I did this to get maximum efficiency out of my light, this is an on-going theme through out my grow.

General Statement:
After the plants reached an average height of 11," I installed a 1/2" chicken wire 12" above the plants (people usually recommend 1" chicken wire, I decided to go 1/2" being that I was growing a 90% sativa hybrid and I was going to be dealing with a lot of bud sites--more intricate matrix for manipulation).

Pruneing:
At this point I starte pruning. I start at the top shoot--the ones hogging all the light. I would begin inspecting at the base of each shoot and remove any of the darker green fan leaves ('water leaves') that are not getting much light. I would leave most of the photosynthesis for the leaves at the end of the shoot--efficiency. I move my way down the main stem, removing less and less leaves as I get toward the bottom of the plant. Generally speaking, you will be be pruning more that an average grow, so be ready.

Neuts:
<<Vegetative growth>>75% recommended FoxFarm, 2 TBSP/everyother feed: custom organic sea kelp/Humic Acid (enzyme mitabalizer--helps my roots absorb more nutrition out of the soil, 2 TSP/everyother feed: Sugar--Micro Neutrients.
<<Flowering>> 75% recommended FloraNova, 2 TBSP/everyother feed: custom organic sea kelp/Humic Acid (enzyme mitabalizer--helps my roots absorb more nutrition out of the soil, 2 TSP/everyother feed: Sugar--Micro Neutrients.

Watering:
about:1 gallon every other day

>>Picture 1: This show how I would look the taller shoots up-and-under the screen to slow down it growth

>>Picture 2: This is one of many ways in which I used a twisty to hold my shoot in place. (I will prob remove these later in the grow, after plants are trained)

>>Picture 3: I made five of these rubber band bungees I made to tilt all the plants. (paper clip and thick rubber band)

>>Picture 4: Under shot of light penetration.

General Statment:
I began flowering the day after I installed the scrog. Being that Sour Diesels stretch for the first three weeks, I had a lot of work ahead of me. The plants were currently 11", the chicken wire/screen was at 12", and the plants were going to grow rapidly for the following 3 weeks. As the plants began to grow into the screen, I began to tilt the main stems in a clockwise rotation, so the top of each plant would be hanging over its neighbor's base. This provided all the undershoots an opportunity to catch up, in the 'journrey to the screen'. After any shoot grew >3" above the screen, I would then strategically loop them around the screen distributing all the bud sites evenly across the target light area. This provided even more time for the undershoots to catch up, in this pursuit of flat/concave canopy. Whenever I would need to position my bud site in a particular way, I would use twisty ties that I had cut in half. **Just because you have possitioned a bud site doesnt mean it cant be rearranged. This may seem like very intuitive, but you have to take advantage of this oppertunity (you can safely manipulate cannabis to do same 'crazy' things).**

The Catch:
I only have a eight weeks of flowering at my location before I have to chop these ladies down. SD's flowering period is 9-12 weeks. I am hoping the fact that I am doing a scrog setup, and my buds will be experiencing some pretty intense light, to knock this down to around 9 weeks. I have also been supplimenting my room with dry ice for Co2 inrichment. I buy 1.5 pounds 3.5 times a week and wrap it in foil, in many plastic bags, in a towel, in an thermal lunch box and place it on my sceen (zipper facing down), above my fan, during my day cycle, and seal up the bottom of my grow room. The dry ice dissperses over a 8-12 hours. Starting the fifth week, I am planning to tapper my day cycle down so I will harvest on 9/15. I have no experience with this, If you have any ideas or suggestion about how to harvesting a significant yield (QP) of a more clear SD high in eight weeks or have any advice on light manipulation, please let me know.

**I am currently 3.5 weeks into flowing, and I am seeing 4-6 hairs per bud site, with an even conopy. I stated my flowering regimen 3.25 weeks into flowering, to avoid 'supplimental phospherous stetch'. I plan to tapper my regimen down after 5 weeks and finally use my cleanser to remove any excess salts. I have never used a product like this before, and I am open for any advice. I am looking for the cleanest, purest smoke.

All these pictures are taken at 3.5 weeks into flowering.
