Nah, not totally correct - Not calling you out, or dogging on you or anything. Just saying your wrong about that one bud. :) I use ONLY 26W CFL's, and you can go check out some dense fat nugs in my grow if ya want. You just have to KNOW HOW TO USE THEM if your gonna go with the smaller wattage CFL's! lol, I've got a thread I made actually discussing the difference between HIGH wattage and LOW wattage CFL's. It's in my sig if your at all interested.

I mean you've got an HPS now man. For god sakes why not just use a closet instead of a rubermade? lol, It'd be MUCH safer to just set everything up in a closet IMHO! I mean all that is, is 1/8 inch plastic... God forbid, and I pray this doesn't happen, just saying, but your at work and wifey takes a nap. And out of a stroke of bad luck right at that moment in time the light falls..... Fire.....

Totally up to you, but my wife and family and house's safety are much more important to me that fatter, denser, tighter nugs..... Just stick with the CFL's in the rubermade and use it as a VEG chamber. Then put that HPS in a closet and have a flower room. Then you can go perpetual! Which would be better anyways wouldn't it? I harvest 1 plant a month, about 40g's per plant, and I NEVER pay for smoke!..

i have to agree with all of the cautious people, make sure your grow space if safe before anything else....you know, the thing is, your managing things pretty well now, and obviously youre having fun with the DIY aspect, take it up a step and buy a tent, or use a clost, or something else thats a little more secure, just in case.

burning down your house is way more expensive than buying weed....even if its not your house. dont take the risk, you never know what could happen...

Def ya man, that's why i said it also depends were you locate the lights and how many you use. I've grown weed with 2 26w cfl's lol, that wasn't great on my end but w.e
And I'm ditching the rubbermaid, anyways it was a starter thing tell i got my hps, i figured id be one of the few to get a 400 in a rubbermaid and successfully pull it off ya know? and I did now im moving on. was saving cash to build grow tent and thats my project for tm cause today was payday =]
