Good stuff. The top one is a good one. Do you use the 5 cut method, or just go the for the single cut down the side and debone from there.

I do the multiple filet method myself. They sure are good if you know what you're doing in cleaning them. I remember when I was a kid, and we'd go up north in the summer, and catch tons of them. My dad had no idea how to clean a pike, and he'd just fry them full of bones. Eveyone would just eat them up, pulling bone after bone out of their mouths. At least he tried.

My neighbor pulled a limit of crappies out of our lake last night.....time to get on the ice and get rollin'. yahooooooooo!!!!!!! Abut time!!

I have filleted the y bones out but I don't anymore.. we just pick them when we're eating, it wastes too much meat trying to cut them out... I think anyways.

nice catch stump jumper.. i've never tried any ice fishing, but it sure looks like fun...

my gf lives up in maine, and a few years ago on the way home i drove by a few lakes that had the huts out on them with smoke coming out of the chimneys and all, sure looked like fun, cold, but fun, lol...

I haven't been fishing once this winter. :( We have had the strangest winter here in all of my 42 years... and nothing close to fishable conditions. Boooo! Diggin' the pics of your string!!

Nice catches both of you. I've had walleye but never pike or musky, I heard it's a firmer meat than walleye, how do you usually like to cook those up Stump?

Same way I cook all of my fish (except salmon) I roll it flour/black pepper and deep fry in peanut oil till golden brown.

We just lost all of our ice. Canada here we come. I'm bummed.......can't ice fish, can't smoke down. What's a guy to do???
Ice is fine.. It's going to be 22' tonight! I'd just stay away from fishing holes, I'm sure they washed out pretty good. I'm going out tomorrow. :)

My Leon Phelps quote that will forever be with me: "Release the power within yourself. Your heard me, release the power. Tame the wild cosmos with a whisper. Conquer heaven with one intimate caress. That's right don't be shy. Whip out everything you got and do it in the butt."
