fish fert

I recently went to my local hydro shop looking for some kind of fish additive, for my plants that are now in week 3 of flowering.
The guy recommended Alaska Morbloom
http://www.amazon.com/Lilly-Miller-Alaska-Morbloom-Fertilizer/dp/B000P9GL7C

Looking more into this product I'm kind of confused on how to use it, and if it is even what I was looking for.

I currently have these nutes

AN : grow micro bloom
AN : bud candy
AN: rino skin
AN: big bud
AN: final phase
AN: overdrive
Cal mag
Gh Powder microbes?
Kelp
Alaska morbloom.

Seems like a lot to me.

If Anyone has experience with alaska morbloom. Or any advice on my nute lineup I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks!

Overdive and Big Bud are basically the same thing in different ratios since you have it just use it but next time you can get just overdrive if you like and a cheeper p/k booster,Bud candy is just amino acids way better products out there. Nothing against AN but they just cost too dam much and I feel bad for newbies that go straight to the entire line up I know I did and I haven't bought an AN product in 4 years. Rhino skin is just silica so you can get a way better and cheaper form of silica else where but yea I use a fish fertilizer and kelp heard of the Alaska morbloom but havent used it myself I use Growmore nutrients Fish fertilizer and their seaweed extract works great.

Oh and as far as microbes Mykos and Azos is what use to use I know use Recharge from real growers its has a variety of microbe species and added kelp, molasses ,humics…etc its just a all in one sort of like a compost tea without the aeration for 48 hrs.

If I remember right you just add it to water (1 teaspoon or tablespoon? Haven't used Morbloom in years), check pH and use... Morbloom is just a 'PK booster', I don't think that was what you wanted when you initially went out shopping, usually "Fish Fert" is some kind of 'Fish Emulsion' (stinks like no other, but plants love this nasty sludge, has a NPK/micro nutrients for plants).

Did the Hydro guy hear you are in flower? Just wondering why he got the Morbloom when you are looking for a 'Fish Fert'

Yeah I had no clue what I was doing when I initially bought all the an line lol. I thought that I had to stick with one brand for some reason..
I'm almost out of the base. I'm going to try a new one for my next grow.
Thanks for the input

Yeah the hydro guy knew about me being in flowering.

I'm still a bit ignorant to cannabis nutes. A friend of mine told me that fish will help me with getting the dankness outa my plants. So I just went to my hydrostore and asked buddy about it. He picked up a bottle near him read it, and told me this was made with fish (morbloom) so I was like sweet, 9$ deal.
When I got home I realized I should have asked more questions lol.

There's AK Fish Emulsion, MorBloom and Kelp. You could grow using all three (the first two in varying ratios to get an NPK ratio you want for veg and flower), the last one for micros.

It would smell bad.

I supplement with fish emulsion to benefit the microbes with organic material. Maybe once in veg and a couple times in flower. Sometimes I reduce my N too much, too soon in flower. I'll reach for fish emulsion not just for N but also give the microbes something.

Looks like I should pick up some sort of fish emulshin.. should I keep the morbloom? Or will the big bud be enough of a pk boster.. Or just don't mix the 2 the same watering? Lol

I need to ditch a few things I think

I can't answer that. I used GH flora 3-part and switched to a one-part dry (inexpensive) fertilizer. I like the simplicity and cost. As part of that process I learned to understand the underlying NPK ratios of the 3-part schedule. Also how to read my plants and supplement with other inexpensive products like AK Fish for N and langbeinite for K. And an inexpensive product with high PK.

In some ways it's still complicated due to all the components. On the other hand, it's simpler because I'm more involved with what's happening instead of blindly following a schedule (and paying a premium for the boutique products that go with it.).

You may be on a similar path if you're considering inexpensive products and eliminating some AN bottles.

I created a spreadsheet to figure out how the inexpensive products can be mixed together to get desired NPK ratios. Also, lets you plug in a boutique schedule and see what the NPK values are (so they can be recreated with other products.). You might want to play with that. Start with finding the NPK and PPM levels of what you're feeding now. Then play with fish, morbloom and kelp to see how you can recreate that. (Or, consider other inexpensive one-part products like Jack's Classic or Grow More Sea Grow, which I use.).

The AN bottles may look better because you don't have to delve into these details. But, at some point I think everyone wants to eliminate that layer of abstraction and see what's happening, be more involved in tailoring it. At that point, you don't need the boutique products because it's no longer a mystery.

ahh yes with a couple of grows under my belt, its time to ditch the an.
I have got allot of trial and error to get to. no more ph perfect bs lol. ohh well. I like the sounds of having complete control of what goes in my medium.
Thanks alot!

A bit off topic but..

I agree with using recharge, pretty impressive stuff, I had some houseplants I also applied it to and it really perked them up within a couple of days.

The clones I transplanted into dirt and hit them with just recharge in some black gold seedling mix.. and because I'm using clear cups I saw very impressive root growth. This was way better than the other root inoculant I was using from Down To Earth..
