FirstGrow! Nice Stealth Grow Cab - CFL's 400w Equivalent - Soil

Hey just about finished building my grow cab! gonna finish light proofing it tonight then im good to grow!

CABINET:

Passive intake is on the bottom right
Exhaust fan is on the very top left blowing into a vent tube that's attached to a carbon filter thats mounted on the bottom of the floor.
all the insides were painted white and all cracks were sealed so its airtight
Going to put my power strip on the left in the empty spot and hook everything up including my lights to the timer
the cabinet may look simple but this thing took like 4 weeks to build so im suuper excited to finally get it going! probably cost around $150-$225 for everything including soil, pots, ect.
the dimension of it are 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 18" (LxWxH)

Heres the Carbon Filter mounted on the bottom:
made it with 2 Walmart pencil holders some dryer sheets, activated carbon, and electrical tape


LIGHTS:

I know your supposed to use 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower but i heard some people like to mix them to get a good light spectrum so im gonna try it out lol
2x 100w replacement 2700k
2x 100w replacement 6500k

I made that little reflector and mounted the lights in it , fits perfect in the cab
I also put a little fan into the side it to exhaust some the heat

SEEDS:
I have 1 White Smurf seed, 3 Strawberry Cough, and 2 randoms all germinating right now so far its been about 28 hours and the 2 randoms already started sprouting

SOIL:
I have some miracle grow potting soil some peat moss and some perlite. I also have some bone meal for flowering
I haven't mixed my soil yet because im not to sure on the ratios of the peat moss, perlite, and soil yet... and suggestions would be appreciated

I might ScroG it but considering its my first grow, i might save that till next time!

This isa close-up of the biggest one, Strawberry Cough:

about a week and 6 days into it, this is my first grow so im not sure how theyre progressing compared to other soil stealth cab grows
still hoping theres atleast 1 girl hoping for 2 though.
Seems like the 3 Strawberry Cough Plants are doing the best followed by the random bag seed and the White Smurf is last.
About how long before they start showing sex? i think i might see some female parts on the largest one, could be new leaves forming though

Okay so good news! i got my first female forsure!!!!!!!
Bad news is i was camping from the 3rd to the 6th and they didnt get fed, one that i had in a super small pot withered up so i tossed it, the other ones were looking suuuper dry but i watered them friday when i got back and theyre looking better already!

okay heres the female, its one of the 2 random bagseeds i put in, i still have 2 strawberry coughs and 1 white smurf im wating on for the sex
Theyve been in for 3 weeks and 2 days from the moment they hit the soil.




Now Heres one of the Strawberry Cough males i got rid of, i took a pic of its roots too, im going to have to transplant the girl into a bigger pot soon. ive decided im going to try ScroG so it should be interesting!


Anyways for it being my first grow im glad ive gotten 1 out of 6 so far to be female, hoping for atleast one more female, any ideas on when i should start Super Cropping? i was thinking within the next 2-4 days
Just got some nice indoor OG Platinum Kush from the dispensary down the road, Toke UP

Bad News guys! some stuff happened and i have to hold off on this grow for a little :/ Hopefully soon i will have a closet grow setup and then ill make a new thread see you guys in the near future!
