First Total Indoor Grow - Caution: Ramblings to follow.

Just kind of introducing myself as I am sure I'll have some questions down the line.

Grown weed under the Sun since 1979. Always started indoors and set out 4-8" babies. Always had decent success, some years better than others, some funny stories along the way. I have always lived in the lower midwest of the US. Just got to a point total indoor makes a bunch of sense. I'll throw a few girls outdoors but I really want to see what I can do 100% indoors. Just retired and can let my hair back down a bit.

Anyway my grow is as follows:

5X6 grow area partitioned off from a 18X25' basement
Walls and ceiling insulated with 1/2" R-Board (semi-expensive foam insulation) faced with good Mylar.
240 CFM exhaust fan pulling through bulb and sucking air off the floor through....
600 W cool tube. Got both MH and HPS bulbs for it.
Backed up by some decent 2700 and 6500 CFLs if needed., I'll probably keep throwing them on till I trip a circuit breaker.
Internal stir-it-around vortex fan
The wall/side I access through is going to be a Panda Film curtain, so it's only RBoard and Mylar on left, right, rear, and ceiling.
Got water "right there" from my basement plumbing
Wood Floor raised 1" off the concrete

Anyway that's about it. Got seeds today from SoS and decided to start these 5 in pots under lamp:
1 WW X Cheese
2 Pure WW
3 Pure Cheese
4 White Rhino
5 Lemon Skunk

(BTW SoS just rocks as far as a place to deal seeds with)

I expect some problems during flower as I'll have some slow gals and some hot rods, seeing as I'm playing w/5 different strains, I'll definitely be doing fimming, LST and/or supercropping to keep them balanced.

Anyway I am going into this with great Karma. I am positive it will be a success. Marijuana is a stout plant that can withstand most if not all of our frailties and make us look like champs. There is way too much hubris and self stroking on the internet as to how to grow this plant.

Peace - AIM

Peace to all Bro's and Sisters who might read and respond. Keep your head in The Game and remember it all comes down to loving each other. Beyond that it is all senseless chatter.

Sounds like a real nice set up, should be cool to see. I always like hearing from the old timers in our fine hobby, you guys got alot of experience, and usually some great stories!
