First Timer- PC CFL grow

Got a new case and gutted it, 23w x 4 6500k CFL's, used two computer fans with a 12v adapter, timer and a mylar emergency blanket- used spray glue to stick it to sides of case. I bought the case because it fits in with the other servers and is big. Case is 24" h x 24" l x 9" w.

Going to use soil and try to grow. Trying unknown bag seeds for first grow, but have good seeds on the way- SOS. I didn't want to waste good seeds on my first time.


Naming first batch of mystery grass as "Mexican Dingleberry"

Going to Scrog it and have been reading as much as I can. Going to have to figure out ventilation if/when it becomes aromatic. Just doing a log, hoping to get this right. Any help would be appreciated.

9/25 -Put bag seeds in wet paper towel

9/29 Not a single one of my bag seeds have sprouted. Epic fail so far.


I have a souviner order from SOS on it's way, as long as the Post doesn't loose it.

Just give em time man. They will pop. I lam a big fan of micro grows, never gotinto the PC grow boxes though. But it could take up to a week or two for them to sprout. Just give it time. Sub'd.

One thing that might work are just letting them chill in distilled water in a container that retains temperatures.

Update. First batch of seeds are dead, no life in more than two weeks. Whilst that was happening, I received good seeds. Here is a batch of Fallen Angel about 4 days old. Will keep updating. Thanks

I'm practicing scrog right now on the same setup as yours except a little bit smaller.

im trying to accomplish ultimate scrog in a PC one day im talking about packed with like at least 40-50 budsights IDC if
They look small aslong as it looks field lil.

Ok- 15 days from Seed. I moved three of them to a little bigger container and could not believe that the roots were about a foot long in that little cup. I also started a Silver Haze single seed in the green cup for variety. I have a total of five going on now and am hoping that they are all girls.

I built a second grow box (30" high x 28" deep x 14" wide) as I will not have enough room for all five to flower in this case- pics will follow. I am going to try to have a small veg and flowering area. Maybe eventually have a healthy mother plant in one box and two flowering in the other. The more I read, the more I am going to have be patient. It's been two weeks, what do you mean there are no buds yet? lol

So far, this is working out well.

Day 17 and one of my girls has stressed as you can see in the pic- rear left. The root had gotten damaged when transplanted and I really need to learn a softer touch. My best scenario is that three of my fallen angels will grow.

Ended up wetting two auto seeds, they cracked and look promising.

Not much other in the updates, yet.
