Hey folks, I love being a part of this community. The information you share is greatly appreciated. Here are my 3 plants from bagseed that turned 3 weeks old today. This is my first time grow and I am learning so much everyday. I was hoping you could let me know if these girls/guys are looking ok so far, I am thinking so far, so good.

A 2 Bay T8 one 6500k, one 2700k bulb 43W Shop Light + 2x 43 Watt 6500k CFLs + 2x 43 Watt 2700k CFLs + 2x 23 Watt 6500k CFLs.
I get my 1000Watt MH lamp next weekend and a 1000Watt HPS lamp 30 days after that! :D
I can already tell, I will grow forever now. There is no turning back!!! :D

Looks nice, are you gunna LST or top them?
I have been reading about LST and I think that is what I will do to maximize yeild (I can keep 22 plants legally) to keep my plant numbers within my limits and also maximize how much I actually get.
I think topping is too stressful for me to want to do it to my plants. I could be wrong though, I am a newb at this.

My first grow as well and I'm about 3 1/2 weeks in. The pics attached are at 23 days. I made a few mistakes. PH level high, nutes (PPM) too strong, and the 150W HPS was 6" from the tops which is now 1 foot away. It's already turning around. But looks like you have been doing it right.

They really look terrific. So keep up whatever you're doing.

I am jealous of everyone's seedlings because I have such a rough time with mine, so don't take that comment too serious. Those are beauties and only 3 weeks old? Looks like you did your homework before you started, keep it up.:leaf::leaf::leaf:

You have a indica strain there. They stay short and bushy and will have a shorter flowering time compared to a sativa. They look healthy

Very kind of you, I have been reading and watching dvds, i purchased 7 ebooks on marijuana horticulture as well.
Reading grow journals and getting advice from experienced folks on here is to me the most valuable resource in keeping my plants looking good and feeling good. :D
Peace and love man!

What straind are they? They look damn good for being only 3 weeks old. I am a DWC user and mine never look like that @ 3 weeks, either you are doing something extremely right or I am doing something hella wrong. Either way good job.

It is bagseed! I'll see if I have a pic. Ok top seeds are Nirvana Northern Light Fem, bottom seeds are my bagseed.
The mother was an incredibly skunky and potent indica that smoked a little harsh but tasted amazing and had a great hammerfisted stone to it.
They have only been fed once too by the way, a 1/4 strength solution of melted snow and 30-10-10 water sol. food.

I have done my research and I am doing my best to keep these plants healthy and happy! I must admit Jorge Cervantes' advice through his books and DVDs have been
such a great resource.

Thats very encouraging man, thank you! It has to be the snow I am telling you lol. Just Jokin' I really think the mother just had really good genetics.

I thought I would take a few pics and post an update. I have purchased a 1000W MH for my plants. They have been getting 18/6 light and now that they are under the new HID they seem to be getting stronger and healthier, guess it makes sense. All 5 of my Northern Lights from Nirvana are doing good, they smell so much different than the bagseed plants (bagseed plants are very skunky). I have to say that without this forum I would have little to no chance at success and I am very grateful for all the advice. I can't wait to get my seeds I have ordered form attitude and start a grow journal. Check out my plants, whattya think? I am vegging them for a nother full month btw, medical allows 22 plants so i am going to grow Trees. :leaf:

Amazing grow man, ESPECIALLY for a first time.
You should try to get the plants on an even setup with the lights tho, maybe lower them a little if it's possible. And maybe i'm wrong, but it looks like a couple might need bigger pots. ;-) The one on the left especially. But then again, what do I know :-P

At 3 weeks that plant looked amazing. I was really impressed at first, especially given the lighting. I don't even know where to find 43w daylight cfls.

But then I see the plants 2 weeks later...

And for 5 weeks old the one plant shown earlier has certainly lost a lot of vigor. Usually when my plants are kicking ass and taking names during the first 3 weeks the growth becomes exponential over the following weeks. It isn't that your plants look bad, it's just, with an upgrade to a 1000w MH and 2 more weeks worth of time I expected more from the update pictures.

Makes me think your plant wasn't really 3 weeks in the OP. Maybe more like 4.5 weeks then and 6.5 weeks now. That would be a slower and more consistent growing pattern if you were to graph out the growth day by day.

Snow Crash they have only had the 1000w for 4 days, and they are growing around an inch a day since being under it. The 3 large ones were germinated Jan 30th. I have no reason to lie about the age of my plants hehe. I got my 42W daylight CFLs from Home Depot here in Ontario, they are 14.99$ each.
I'll take pictures every couple of days and post them. :)

Thanks for the encouragement folks, it really helps me keep it between the lines. As for the melted snow, well, theres only about 2 weeks of that left then I am gonna need some ph down and tap water because it doesn't rain enough here to collect significant amounts.

The one on the left looks so bushy because I did LST on it. I am going to be transplanting this evening to 4 gallon pots for the large ones.
You think I should raise the light height? Is that what you mean by lowering the pants? I have it on a chain with hooks so its very easily adjustable.
