First time with led lights

Ive got the fox farms trio, will i need to buy somthing different?
Running LEDs causes the plants to use more magnesium and sometimes more calcium. Jus get you a small bottle of calimagic its by general hydroponics. You can get off of Amazon prime for under 20 bucks for a quart. Or monstergardens for like 13 bucks. Some places cheaper if you look. But a quart is 946ml. And you only need between 3-5ml per gallon usually. Some strains use more. But any kind of cal/mag will work.

looks really nice, im mostly doing my small grows untill i can afford high quality equipment. It's all for fun and learning right now.
Dont worry what people say. Everyone starts somewhere. Most people don't start out growing topshelf nugs. I guess some do. But the more you read and learn. The more knowledge you gain to use on your next grow. Take notes of this grow of any mistakes you make or whatnot. Then you know next run not to do that. Being in an unfriendly state be very careful with smell. If you have a few extra bucks get you some kind of carbon filter or atleast some Ona scent control. Anything to help with the scent. Being in a building the smell will travel through different rooms. So be careful. No grow is worth jail time. Idc how good or how big it is. If you even get a hint of other people knowing in your building. Tear down and get rid of it. And wait a little until you are legal or can grow better with scent control. Good luck on your grow. I hope it turns out decent.

Look up Cob Led grow lights or Quantum boards. And no your light is not full spectrum. Full spectrum led give off white light and look like natural sunlight. Blurple lights like yours are a gimmick and waste of money. Also you are going to be lucky to get a half ounce off that plant at most. 4 months plus for a half ounce is a serious waste of time and money. You need to do a ton more research on growing and not try to go cheap on your equipment. You will be very disappointed in the end.

For starters you need to veg longer. Here is the size you need to veg to get around 3 ounces off a plant.

These 4 plants were vegged for 5 weeks. I bet you vegged your plant that long and look at the difference. You see how my lighting is white and natural looking? This is a full spectrum led light. Timber 4vs light to be exact. Another problem I see with your grow is you have no vertical space left in your grow area. You need to keep your lights at least 12" from your plant. Your plant is going to double is height when you flip. You don't have the vertical space to accommodate this stretch. Again I am trying to help but you have a long way to go before you get anywhere close to the kind of results you want. Your wasting your time bro. Read read read. Learn. We have all been there. Good luck.

How did you get timber to put on full spec cobs. Bc they dont offer full spec cobs. I'm pretty sure vero29s arent full spectrum. I maybe wrong. Curious bc I'm building another DIY led light. Went with Samsung F-series gen 3s the first time. Wanna do a cob setup this time. Did you buy the light pre-assembled? Hows the yield with them? The Samsung strips go above n beyond on yield. I thought cree had the only full spec con out right now.

I have to agree with Southside112 I'm a noobie have 2 grows under my belt totally of 7 plants didn't do to bad with autos got about 3/4 oz each plant. I did a ton of research ( I think I read more know than in high school)
Pull the trigger on a 120w QB board from hlg arrived just in time for my NL auto huge difference from cheap burple lights to warm white QB board the growth in just 2 days is out of bounds better than any Amazon or Ebay burple light without a doubt. Don't get me wrong I used 4 different burple lights 200w. 600w 1000w and some cheaper 24w side lighting through out the 2 grows and just in 2 days I can tell the difference from the growth QB all the way plus it's 93% efficient. Couple pics below

Im in a duplex the plant dpesnt seem to put off much smell to me its i.n the basement. Im not sure if im just used to it or what but we also smoke inside my wife is always got candles and airfresheners going to. I had to tear down my last grow wich sucked because my plant was beautiful i toped it and it had so many bud sites. I used cfls before so i can deff say this light even though not the best is definitely an upgrade from cfls.

@CrazyWeeds. Dont let the haters get to you its just some are to much of a "pro" lololololol. As for your lights theyll do fine for your test im running the absolute cheapeast leds ive seen anyone run and my stuff is comeing out just caked with trichs.View attachment 4247841
What lights are you using got a grow journal or thread i can check out?
Yea not everybody has 400-600 dollars for lighting, this is just an amature grow for fun and learning untill i can grow in my state without the stress of having a large scale grow.

@CrazyWeeds Not sure were ive posted pics of them but heres 1 in a new clone box. 20181212_165118.jpg 20181212_165114.jpg they are dismantled screw in led lightbulbs mounted to old cake pans then riveted and a 120mm pc fan for cooling cost about $25 in material if i didnt have the cake pans prolly $35 each for 150 true watts. Im sure quantum boards or a 1000 hps would outperform them but im pulling 7 to 9 oz sticky and covered in trichs each run so im fine with my 4 $25 lights lol

Thoes are pretty cool! Did you come up with the idea for them i really like it, im more of a diy type of person. Id actually be interested in making myself one or two are there any tutorials on these or could you tell me how and give me a list of materials? How much are you getting per plant?

Hubby made them. I think he got the idea from someone that used a cookie sheet as the cooling heatsink on another forum. No tutorials but i have one taken apart i can get more pics of later. Yield per plant is hard to say cuz plants are going into flower at different veg times. Got a 8foot long by 2 1/2 foot deep flower box split into 2 areas running perpetual so when 1 side gets done its filled with ones from the veg box and its been 2 large plants to 8 plants that was pretty much 12-12 from clone but its been right about 8 oz of good top buds another 2-3 of bottom fluffy stuff for edibles per harvest under 300 watts of those lights.
