First time w/ grow Journal

Hey all, just around 19 days vegging from some seeds.
-foliage seems to be coming in nice, and already have lush 3 leave sets.
-been pretty rigorous on applying a 15% nutrient base, and a 6.5-7.0 ph level
??Question time??
-has anyone heard of any nutrients that inhibits vertical growth and instead makes the plant grow horizontally instead?
-and should I eventually transplant these girls to larger rock wool cubes, or will these micro cubes be ok once i put them into a DWC system in a few weeks?

I have no idea... but i wouldn't feed them nutes... or just feed them 1/8th of recomended amount... for now

but honestly those girls look like they are stunted.. 19 days vegged they should be doin great.. hopefully they take off.. it might just be the strain or that its indoor.. i did an outdoor.. and mine are about 32 days and two are flowering already.. and one is sticking in veggy mode, and other one is stunted.. but they are well over 2 feet already.. im using foxfarm soil and big bloom nutes..

maybe you should research hydropnics a little more.. or find a freind tho really is a expert, you have the equipment it seems buddy.. and those may just be doing great i can't rly tell.. hopefully they take off.. keep postin pics

Those are lookin good man, a little small but they will explode soon, also you can prolly go a little heavvier on the nutes by now, maybe 1/4 strength, I mean those are 2 week old plants they can take it and will prolly grow ALOT more

I picked up a new three part nutrient mix today, gonna mix up a batch and run some fresh water into these girls. We'll see what they look like in the morning.

The more light plants get the shorter and more compact they grow in veg state... mybe you could get the plants closer to the light

I feel like i am stuck. I'm trying to get the roots to grow nice and strong, but i really need to transplant these blocks to a DWC set with hydrostones around the blocks in order for that to happen. This then means I have no aeration for a week or so while the roots grow down into the bucket. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I think you are doing fine.. just need to let the plants gorw some more, put them in a bigger container and put them to flower when they are big enough:weed:

Yes haha, so my stealth grow was almost compromised!!! ...damn apartment complex wanting to give us free cable, lol. Anyways had to move the girls and operation to a friend's for a week. But I moved the cubes to the DWC set and covered them with hydro-lite, and so I'll update this post with a pic in a couple days.

-Just got my girls back from my buddies place. I can tell he had my light a bit too close and I can see some burn on one of the taller girls leaves. Other than than minor annoyance, they are looking healthy and loving their new DWC.
-BTW I pulled the blocks out earlier to see the root porn, and as of now I got about 15-30 1" hairs comin out the bottoms, so that's a plus. I'll take a pic of these in a little bit(don't want to readjust the girls again :))

I may forgo flowering for another 2 weeks, only because in about 1 week I am going to take some clones from these girls. I really need these girls to be striving and strong for when I Cut them. As soon as that is done I'm going to switch them to 12/12.

***Super Update
-So unbeknownst to me at the time (also because i didn't research properly) I realized the difference between the led panel I bought (225 leds..28 watts total :( and the awesome actual 90w circular Grow led for sale at grow stores. With this in mind I went shopping around nd lucky me...I found an actual 90w tri-band light for super cheap and was able to get it. It'll be here in a couple days, just in time for these babes to go into flowering. So hopefully you'll continue to watch this grow journal, and sorry about the earlier misinformation.

btw link to what I just bought:http://cgi.ebay.com/90W-FULL-SPECTRUM-TRIBAND-UFO-HYDROPONIC-LED-GROW-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ290436108725QQcategoryZ0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m506QQ_trkparmsZalgo=NGRI&its=I%2BC%2BS&itu=UA&otn=20&pmod=250630908823&ps=63&clkid=8460424810780029726
