so i just used neem oil for the first time should i expect to see results the first time i use it to get rid of those fucking mites and the assholes who are eating my fan leafs? lemme know how often i should use it and how many sprays to shoot? thanks for all the help riu!! couldnt have done it with out you!

I just used neem oil for the first time yesterday. I have heard it is just a preventative measure to take, rather than a cure all. It supposedly suffocates the organism and inhibits it from growing further. Maybe the neem could potentially drown out the existing pests, but i do not know. Good luck man.

Neem is a systemic it needs time to act.

It is not an instant knock down. It disrupts the reproductive cycle of a lot of pests.

If you want something with knockdown then look into SPINOSAD you can also use HOT SHOTS NO PEST STRIPS to help kill mites.

Neem oil should be used roughly once a week. But you can up that to once every other day if your infestation is pretty bad. BUt be warned excess neem oil treatment will cause problems with your leaves as it can block the stomata on your leaves (the breathers).

Hope this has helped you out.

oils r harsh so dont spray to much i spray just enuf so that it is not drippen off the leafs and depending on how bad ur mites r i would spray then wait 3 days then 3 days see if you have any left if there r any wait 3 days and continue hope all goes well

Really we need to know what stage your in. IF your in veg just get a tub full of phed water (6.5-7) and add some suficant (or dish soap) and dunk your plants. Also ALcohol solution works well with bad infestations. Temp and huidity control are good too (make it colder and more humid but dont over do it or you may get PM). Or you can use biological controlls (predetory mites, lady bugs ect). Neem should be a last resort as it is a tertiary carcinagen. I never neem during flower!
