First time tent grow issues help needed ,,,,....

Ok , so this is my first time growing in a tent ,

Tent dimensions are 140x60x60cm

The tent is set up with an extractor and intake fans
I have a fan inside that oscillates and is suitable ,
I had some humidity issues so i have added a small humidifier and my humidity is stable between 60-70%
My Temp is stable between 23-28'c

I am using a new LED light , that i was running @75% but have now switched to 50% to see if this helps with my issue,

this is my light - - - https://www.greenshorticulture.co.uk/plant-lighting-c16/led-lighting-c60/maxibright-daylight-200w-pro-led-p975

The issue i am having is that as soon as i get to 10 Inches or around 4 weeks veg i suffer major leaf curl i will add photos shortly ......

I am using Bio Bizz light mix soil with added Perlite and i also use Clay pebbles as a layer on top of the soil , i have always used this mix outside of tents with good success ,

I am an experienced grower but never in tents ...

My light is pictured below it is full spectrum ..... Please help XD

So it's a 2x2 tent and your light is 50w a square foot which is a fair chunk even in flower..

75% is 150w, plenty for flower, too much for veg.
50% is still strong.

I've been running my two 600s at 25% in veg and they're as happy as they've ever been vegging with LED. (4× 8 )

I'd switch to 25% if you can maintain temps.

How many Hours light are you vegging on?
Most I'd want to be at is 18/6

Hi
Thank you for the reply ,

I have been running 22/2 in Veg , but only because i have always done this outside of tents and it seems to do ok ,

Yeah so it's 200w full power so i have switched it down to 50% so 100w at present ,

I was going to run that for 48hours and see if she perks up at all as she is 50cm away from the actual light ,

Maybe if that does not work i'll switch down to 25% ,

I hope this is the issue as this is my third run and iv'e been scratching my head !!

Yeah, drop it to 18/6

Your in a tent, most of the light you would of been losing is now hitting your plants.

Essentially the amount of light is over what the plant can't take due to transpiration and nutrient uptake limitations.

So they are sad.

Im At 150w per 4x4 that's 9.37w per square foot. You're at 25w per square foot, that enough to flower let alone veg.

You make a valid point , all of the light is going to the plants , whereas before lot's of my light was escaping ,

I have just turned it down to 25% and i will see how she responds , i'll post more photos then .....

"" Im At 150w per 4x4 that's 9.37w per square foot. You're at 25w per square foot, that enough to flower let alone veg. "" <-- this was very helpful ty ,

Quick question , when i run 6 hours dark should i leave my fans/humidifier etc all running ?

BioBizz light mix definitely doesn't have 6 weeks worth of nutrients, especially when the plants are being pushed to the limit like this.
I always have before with this mix never added anything until week 6 with no issues ,

I have added Coffee grounds this time as stated above ,

It has always worked for me before , i don't think the swap from room to tent would make much of a difference to this situation but i get your point :)

Are these the same plants you have grown outside of a tent?

I agree with what others said about plants needing to be fed. That Biobuzz light mix sounds like a soil mix I use & it suggests to use ferts or amend. Maybe start a worm bin & give the coffee grounds to the worms then you can use EWC instead of the grounds, just a suggestion.

Yeah maybe ,

i have the feed ready to go -

I have never fed before week six using this mix with no issues ,
I'll do anything to fix the issue so the light intensity has been lowered and feeding will begin now.

I don't even get 6 weeks out of Fox Farm soils before I have to feed. Been a few years since I've used it, but I don't remember it as being a particularly nutrient-rich mix at all.
These are 6 weeks from sprout in FFOF. 2 gallon pots no added nutrients. I always get 5-7 weeks before adding nutrients in 2-3 gallon pots. It’s a pretty hot soil. It will fry seeds/seedlings occasionally if you don’t add some seedling starter mix in the center of the pots.
