First time solo indoors, budget as f***

Hey, I am just about to begin my first indoor attempt on my own.

Goals: I smoke about an ounce a week to two with the wife, and would like to make outdoor season less stressful so I'd like to have a minimum 1lb to 1.5 every cycle.

My set up currently is in a open 12x8 room with a 600watt vivosun ballast and wing with the intention of perpetual veg. 18/6 and cloning in the open room. I may invest in more tents or enclose an area later in my journey. I may just make a 48x48x48 box with reflective material, one panel removable and an open top to adjust the light up and down.

In that room I have a 48*48*80 tent (3 door 6 duct with two passive screens) another 600watt vivo and a 6 inch 440cubic foot per min inline with carbon filter.

I'm am venting to a window two feet from tent. my heat pumps are effective at cooling and i run a wood furnace in winter but I am drawing two 6" cold air lines and one 4" (individual rooms and can convert to outside air if necessary with two 6" lines) to the bottom of tent (yes with screens) this eliminates any light pollution using the passive screens (fuck a cardboard manifold).

On my lowest setting I'm still pulling the sides in on the tent slightly.

I have chose pro-mix mycho hp, (sunshine number 4 as filler if I'm short, using that and another mix for outdoor), 1:3seafood compost, 1:2sheep shit.

My feeding schedule will be ph'd water, using rootfarm ph up and down and a test kit and some miracle gro20-20-20 for veg, ultra bloom 15-30-15 all at quarter dose or less , likely switching in the future, no preference to MG ferts but used in low doses I have had major success outdoors, (I'll attach pics of last year's adventures). Give me some advice on nutes. I don't want snake oils, something basic. Considering grow, micro, bloom or canna line

By the way, it's Guerilla glue.

My question.....is schedule and technique. I don't want to waste power and would sooner get another light for mom and clones.

Would I do well to say have six 7gal pots in the 4x4 flowering, but I will veg them for 2 months outside tent in 2 gal pots?

Or I get a t5 and a separate area, put mom and clones there. Have alternating perpetual harvests. 6 weeks of veg and SOG in 2.5-3 gal pots? Do you think my yields would be improved? I'm concerned with height and I can't scrog if I'm moving from room to tent.

If you made it here, thank you, yes I'm considering another tent. but can this work? I'd rather not drop too much more into this at this stage.
Any other advice would be appreciated.

Sooo I did some things since than. The soil mix could use some extra perlite and I decided on sunshine 4 only and used 2:1 sheep and 1:3 seafood. Who would of thought my third outdoor season and first indoor experience would be so fun, for a kid who grew up in concrete I'm even growing tomatoes and peppers and lemon trees and shit now too. I got stuff in my yard I just call purple and pink cause I don't know what it is but the wife fuckin loves it

I'm using a couple other salts with the MG and dropped using the ph adjusters (bad burns bad), my well water does it just fine and also doubles as my coffee water I can compare with my outdoor and rain water and there's no difference IMO possibly better results with my well water (I should find out what's in it ) but we have also had a very rainy summer.

I had major trouble with getting roots out of the GG4 I got, had some major issues getting mom up to par (super soil on hand and burned the fuck out of it) gave a root trimming and re plant and bounced back. Have a t5 and nano dome with plugs and root gel now, got roots on 90% in 21 days. Only one had roots at 14 days. scrape, split, water, gel, powder. Change tray water and feed alternating fresh.

My outside ones went in on June 15 out of 4" pots. Took two small ones back to make new mom's or send to pasture ‍, ran out of pots. I have used a series of FTSL or my set of steps is fim top supercrop lollipop. On the edge of schwazzing. I don't do training in flower and am quite happy with my pre stretch canopies. And density, I got some WPM last year and I'm not doing it again. I'm a cut and Chuck fella even if it means losing branches in bloom.

My indoor I'm attempting HST (ftslschwazz) on my mom now, seeing if I can promote tight growth on this stretchy bastard from day one. Got temps perfect for me, 21-26.5 celcius between night and day for summer so winter will be a breeze, have played with some controls and am able to go from 35% RH all the way too 60% with a few clicks and some fan control.

I've decided to do a SOG and only top to keep canopy even before flip, I'm on week 6 from cut, ten inches roughly, 3 weeks as clone, 2 weeks in 5" pots and than giving them a moment to fill in the 3 gal pots. Did some supercropping after topping, I can't help it, I heard they Hermie easy so I'm pushing them cause I love to push boundaries as you can tell from my fert/water choices. they will be recovered by the time I hit week 4 of veg when I'll be turning them back. Hoping to hit 12-14"before flip. I am not concerned with clone time, 3 weeks plus four weeks veg under my other lights still leaves me 3 weeks extra between cycles. But I'm thinking some other strains might be better suited. Will update with some stretch and bloom pics.

Any tips for SOG technique,
Any tips for HST,
Any tips for pot sizes (I went 3 gal and feel like I should have gone smaller but this strain looks like it gets rootbound quick)

And wtf with mom, its so fucking big I need it to tone it down, or is this a first world problem?

If you’re set on clones for a while you can hack the mom down and let her grow back.

I know people even cut the rootballs down but idk anything about that process.

Also it’s insane that that row of plants outside in your first post doesn’t last you!

I make butter and hash and help little old ladys smoke for free. My third year growing outdoor and probably last, I was worried the indoor wouldn't work as I'm pretty fresh into this and wanted to have some options. Part of me wishes I didn't start one or the other at the same time but here I am.

That purple stuff went past ripe, my friends even stopped taking free bags of it.

Thanks for the idea, I guess I can try to time it and calendar my regrowth to try and line it up for my next batch.

The root ball process is simple. I actually had to do it with this mom (was my first time and nervous) but I used a supersoil that burnt the hell out of it at first. I cut away a third of the sides and bottom with a chef's knife and gave it a shake to loosen it up, repotted with fresh soil and it went this way on me so it didn't hurt it at all that's for sure. I attached some pics.

When I got it than one month later, what I did to it, when I re potted at 6 weeks with a root cut and than after some growth to 9 weeks.
