Feeding with every other watering? Don't yet know what the problem is but I'd start with getting out of that routine for a start, that is way too often, you will cause nutrient problems followed by a host of other issues.

my last grow i reduced the strength and fed every watering with good results. i have always fed every other watering using fox farms line up with sunshine mix.

what about hydro growers that feed all the time?

Fed with every water? Well I'm glad that worked for you, but in my experience, all this achieves is nutrients in excess & a whole host of other problems. Granted, a low enough dose at a low enough ratio might be sustainable for some of the more experienced growers that understand the nutrient needs of their plants & have no other conflicting issues and all their other factors are in check, (soil, lighting, water frequency, temps, humidity, etc.) but as is all too often this is not the case and people just don't know how to read & react to their plants needs. As for hydro growing, such a far removed process from soil growing why even link them?

if you have more perlite or hydroton pebbles like 50/50 with soil its like there is only half as much of the nutrients in the soil. you can mix in mycorrhizae and still use foxfarm at least, or dyna grow. about a half a teaspoon mixed in a spray bottle with water is working for me, 1/4 dose with each watering if you want,- 2 or 3 tablespoons to a gallon usually 2 or 3 times a week. I flush it though every day , and weekly also

I am well versed in the use of perlite and vermiculite, and know the benefits from using them. I am currently growing with a mix of 50% soil based compost and 50% vermiculite, and have great results. Also, the fact that you flush it every day proves my point; you are leaching out any salt build up you may have caused by over-feeding them, and so you are constantly leaching/replenishing nutrients.
