First time . need all the advice i can get

hello this is my first time growing under lights . i have a 400 watt hp light and my plants are about 3 weeks old and about 3-4 inches tall. i wanted to know how far away do i keep the plants from the light ... and basicly what should i do , im used to growing out doors . what are things that i need to watch out for??? how do i know if my plants are goin to be male or female??? please help with everything

Read up a ton and wing it. Thats what im doing and i ahve a 3 week old healthy plantaroo.

were do i read about this stuff. . i cant seem to find a web site that will tell me how far away i keep the lights . or what fertilizer to use and hoe often

i am in the same boat as you i have some supplies, oppurtunity, and i say why not? i have read some of the info on that page and got a good idea of what im going to do i am starting on saturday with seeds that i have collected some from some ok mid and one from some pretty good high. i am taking photos during each steps and starting a journal with it asking questions when they pop up. My best advice is set down and make a list of some supplies for the first week and start there. Dont know exactly what you need read the GrowFAQ for information.
