First time indoor grow under cfl's

FINALLY I GOT THE SETUP UP AND RUNING AND CANT WAIT FOR THE EXCITEMENT THROUGHOUT THE GROW.. SO AS THE TITLE SAYS THIS IS MY FIRST GROW, BUT I HAVE BEEN A SPECTATOR ON ANOTHER GROW SO IM NOT A COMPLEATE NOOB.. THE SIZE OF THE ROOM IS (21"w + 45"h + 18" deep)
...THE LIGHT IM USING TO GROW MY 2 "BABYS" ARE 3 26 WHATT,100WHATT EQUIVELENT COOL BLUE CFL'S ( UPGRADING TO A 150WHATT HPS ASAP).. JUST TODAY I FINISHED THE SETUP AND CUT A WOOD SLAB MAKING A DOOR SO I CAN LOCK UP THE ROOM. ALREADY I HAVE A OUTTAKE FAN LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR BLOWING OUT ALL THE HEATED AIR, AND A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM TO SUCK IN SOME FRESH AIR... RIGHT NOW THE ROOM DOESNT HAVE ANY REFLECTIVE MATERIAL BUT THATS ONE OF THOSE UPGRADES ALONG THE WAY
THE SEEDS WE PULLED OUT OF A BAG OF BUD A WHILE AGO AND I JUST CAME ACROSS THEM RECENTLY, KNOWING ME OFCOURSE I STARTED THEM. I GERMENATED THE SEEDS FRIDAY, JULY, 31ST AND HAD TO LEAVE FOR A FAMILY GET TOGETHER WHEN I CAME BACK ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND THEY WERE READY TO BE PLANTED. I PLANTED THE SEEDS A DAY LATER ON AUGUST, 3RD.

AHH.. WELL I THINK I COVERED ABOUT ALL OF IT EXCEPT FOR LETTING YOU GUYS KNOW YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO ASK QUESTIONS, GIVES TIPS, AND FOLLOW ALONG.. I AM EXCITED TO HEAR WHAT FELLOW CANNABIS GROWERS HAVE TO SAY (KEEP THE POSTS ROLLING IN)

Day 2 of veg. Already comin up outa the soil.. i decided to throw some plastic wrap over them to increase the humidity, but im kinda shocked that there growing at a fast rate..? It took 2 days to germenate and 1 days to show its self from the soil..

let me know how the setup looks..

(im attaching pics not sure if they will work like i said im still new to the website)

nice job, i like your cab set up, looks like you put some thought into it. I am certain you have read and heard NOT to use tinfoil right? whats with that plastic clear sheet around the cups for?

Your set up looks pretty good, i just started my grow a week and a half ago with a couple of seeds i had too. They have been in MG potting soil, ive been burying the stem up to the leaves the last 4 days and they are looking sweet. Im not wanting to take a chance that hey are both males so i ordered some monster kush seeds from nirvana (feminized) so i will get them next week i hope then start germing them. My room is in my basement and is a closet so i have some good room to work with. im using 4 25w cfl and a gro light. cant wait for them to get bigger. this is my second grow. my first was an outdoor grow last summer, i could hide them in the woods. but now that i have moved and i have a pig living across the street its indoors for me. Good luck man.

When you do it right, they grow like a weed, don't they!

Sirbudmaster : Yeah man ive heard that tin foil creates hot spot and isnt even that reflective its just in there as some sort of reflection right now till i figure what i want to do, yah know but yeah thanks for the reply and hope to see ya follow along..

nice setup tho, looking good so far
but ya get that HPS as soon as you can
it will make a huge difference, just make sure you have decent ventilation so that it doesnt get too hot

How do you guys think a 150w will work in there?. i have a out take at the top and am waiting to mount an intake fan.. but the door is open as much as possible . also i have another fan blowing air into the closet ..(temps dont go above 90

are you gonna scrog? with a 150, that would be the way to do it prolly. Go to a target or camping place...for 2.50 US you can get an emergency blanket and would work out cheap and nicely for your grow. I am sure one would probably do that whole cab too.

Scrog, probally not .. unless i read up on how to .. i think i might just see if i can finish one growing by myself ya know... the 150 i think will work for that area dont you ?

for reflective material i know theres none in there right now, im still deciding weather to go buy some mylar or go for somthing along the lines of the camping blanket..

for one plant yeah 150 will be nice. If you can flip the funds for mylar, then do it cause its the best....cheap out option is the blankets.

If you're using cfls, i wouldn't worry about tinfoil hotspots.
You can almost touch a leaf with a cfl, i wouldn't think light
reflected off foil could be much hotter than the cfl itself.
Just my thought, as i used it also before i got mylar and
panda film. I never had hotspots.

Hey guys..

Heres an update

This morning i woke up and the plants had finally dried out.. the first watering was straight water and now it was time to give a small dose of super thrive... i mixed up a solution and filled another small cup with half solution and half water... attached are picture of the girls on day 4 after a watering of solution/water mix..

How they looking.. ??

Hey guys sorry for not posting up in a while, my computer broke and had to get it fixed ..

Well here are pics at the end of week 3. i had to take them outa the dresser (got to big)They both have been given a every day watering doseage of some fox farm solutions along with some super thrive at the beggining. i give them a solution every other time using just plain water in between.

How they looking ?

also im not going to be able to get a 150 watt hps so its cfls all the way through ..

Any tips or sugestions are very much welcome
