I'm planning my first outdoor grow (or grow period) this spring... I know its early, but I want to be prepared.
Im moving too is BFE in the next week or 2. A place where I'll be on 6acres surrounded by woods and my only neighbors are corn and soybean crops. So im thinking of growing my own stash for edibles.
I'm wanting to do 10-15 plants all grown outside. I'd like to yield enough to last between harvest. I'm going to use all product for edibles since my lungs can't handle smoke anymore. I've never grown anything before so this will be an adventure.
My first big issue is where to buy my seeds and what strains to get? I was originally going to use bag seeds but everything I have is 6 yrso or more. Kept in a pill bottle and tucked in a bottom dresser drawer. Plus the seeds are very small. So now im thinking blue cheese and white widow from nirvana but those are autos so im not sure they'd be advisable for a first-time.
