I have started growing a couple of plants now they r about 12" on 2 of them and 1 is about 13-14" I am using a shop florescence 2x 48w 4' @6500k. Now I was told that I need more light and to switch to CFL's if I want to get more out of my crop. Now I have been looking into either 85w or 125w cfl, but I am kinda confused I want to have a 6 plant growing system that is low in cost/maintenance using an ebb and flow system, Now when I look at the CFL's I would like to have it running at 120v which socket should I have ?, which cfl should I use? how many do I need for 6 plants and what r the specifics on the bulb/CFL and where to get them at ?:wall:
Thx

the easiest way of getting alot of cfl power is to use those200w eviro lights if you have a good reflective area around your plants adding two of those along with the shop lights.

for 6 plants i would use a blue 250w envirolite or similar, for veg then add another 250w red later on in flowering, so total 500watts

Its cheaper to geta 400 watt digital switchable HID setup as you need about 6 cfls per plant and then fixtures and cords so $40 per plant of cfls 6 times $40 is $240 then all your cords and sockets so you at almost $300 and a new digitla 400 can be gotten for $99 and a $30 reflector so under $160 with a bulb for a great setup
