My flower tent is next to a south facing window 25 stories up. I suggest you keep your blinds partially closed. Indirect light is ok but direct will leak through the seams.
Zip yourself into your tent for 15 minutes. Lights out, no phone etc. You’ll see where there are issues. I was getting seeds on some lower buds and it turned out to be one of the bottom vents that the Velcro didn’t seal properly. You can also get the black lined ducting.
Direct sunlight on your tent might also cause heat issues.
Remember, if you can see out, they can see in.

Lol a friend of my was telling me it has to be a quiet room not anywhere near noise
Sound will not be a profound factor to worry about. The potential for light leaks should be more of a concern than the sound levels.

How do you vent? To the outside through a window or just into your pad? Do you experience odor control issues?

Into my pad.
I have two tents:
A veg tent 3x2x3 and a flower tent 3x3x6
The flower tent uses 3 passive intakes. Two from the top (ducting with pantyhose over the ends for air filter) and one that vents the veg tent.
I have a cool tube that exits the tent, goes through the fan and is pushed through a CAN 66 filter. The thing is gold. Zero odours. Lots of negative pressure in the tents.
I can dry in my veg tent as well because it’s vented.
My biggest issue is keeping my environment close enough to optimum conditions especially lack of humidity in the winter.
