First Time Grower

Idk if my plant is sativa or indica dominant but i do know that its bagseed and its about 4 weeks old under a 60w blue spec growing light for veg leave all the feedbacks you feel like positive or negative i topped it about 4 days ago too the first pic is when i first topped it then the other is a close up 4 days later

looks like an indica. looking good.

you should probably get more light on that plant, move it a bit closer as well, if ur using cfl's u can get them pretty close.
also, u may want to get rid of that aluminum foil hanging if that's what it is. not the best for growing, even a white wall is better. pick up a white science fair easel board (idk what they are called) if u wanna be extra cheap, even that is better than aluminum foil.

ya my first also bagseed...i agree with pharmer. ditch the foil. could create hot spots, and burn your leaves...you can also keep that cfl about 1" or 2" away from the tops...get more before u start flowering!! they are lookin nice though. keep it up.

I woke up today hoping to finally see the new growth come through where i topped/tried to fim, well 4 new shoots baby happy and yea I threw away the foil and added a osc fan ill attach the pics so you can check it out. im going to attach this insect killer i picked up because i have seen bugs in the soil not sure what they are but i'm assuming bad Please give me some feedback and let me kno anything that would help ty and much appreciated

Uploading the new setup and the type of cfl im using i kno there not the right bulb but its the best i can do for now. lemme kno what you think positive or negative i also have 2 other bagseed going dont kno if the one im working on is male or female wud be pissed if i had nothing after to continue if its a male kiss-asskiss-assthanks to gdpharmer & gobskii for the tips i have tried to implement them well, will be updating pics evry chance i get so keep checking on me so that you may leave your feedbacks to help me out its my first time remember

yes!!! thats what i like to see...both of those lights just where there at and he/she will start loving you for it...but if u want more plants, you will have to add more light...for the momen though, i guess it'll have to do. i would really watch what kind of insecticide you use...some of it isnt the best for your soil or plants.

you could probably put that light even closer...1" since it is such low wattage...but leave the side light where its at.

If your getting serious with growing u should look into making or buying a box. It helps a lot, especially with cfls. You will need more light also. Try to get larger cfls, im using 8 26watt for 1 big female and 4 smaller plants. it seems easier to manage less lights, if u could, look into getting 100watt + cfls, u would only have to have 1 per plant. That's what i am going to get for my next light, 3x150watt 2700k cfls.

i started off with 1 2oow blue cfl, and 1 125w full spec. cfl, and at a later date, i found that the 200w cfl successfully vegged with a bit of stretch 22 plants...nothing re potting and a fan couldnt fix. i just wouldnt flower unless i had 2 300w cfl's, and i ended up buying a 250w hps instead...but still veg with the cfl's

lookin good! you should put a small cab together that you can better control the light! but regardless looks like you are learning!

Hey i was checking out my shit today and i saw this "new growth" but when i looked closer it did not look like a leaf and it was white not green so tell me what u think is it sexing on me ?

2 pack of 5ooo k 27 Watt Cfls i think this is gonna help alot puls the 4 13 watt 4ooo k cfls So im kinda new but i heard 2500 lumens per plant in veg how many lumens do i have if each bulb is 1750 for my 27 wat cfl equal to 100 incandescent bulb is that 3500 lumens just in these 2 and then the 4 13 watters put out 800 lumens each is that another 3200 lumens so a total of 6700 lumens or am i wrong anyone???

cant say for certain, but in the node of the last pic...looks like preflowers.

Nice, gz on the female.. I just topped one of my plants like that. Kinda seeing if i t will lollipop. Yours looks like it might, but it might just be the top growing back.
