First time grower...Tent, Hydro, LED/CFL combo. Thanks for any advice.

This is hydroponics for anyone seeing this at a later date. Will feed for one more week then flush for one week.

Hi Darth, here's a link to some bud pics of the BD I just pulled. It was ready at Day 56/8Weeks, pics are Day 55. Notice the maturity of the overall buds, hairs have turned brown, curled, trichs are cloudy. I wait to see a couple of ambers and pull, that's my preference for a head stone with sats. You can go longer or slightly shorter but yours aren't ready yet. The trichs started showing at week 4, and you could even argue some were cloudy around week 6, but that means nothing until the overall plant/buds are matured. Last pics you put up all the hairs on the buds were still white, when they turn brown and start to curl then check the trichs.

Lol, red trichomes.. doh. lets make that -cloudy trichomes, I did start smoking trichomes at 9am today

I cannot wait to grow some durban poison...have you tried that strain? she gets tall but I would scrog it.

I'm helping a mate outdoors with some (4) sativas, Durban, Maui, Vietnam Black xThai, Kali Mist. They are a foot tall so far.

Scrog might work, never grown Durban, they say it won't finish/ too cold here.. so it's just for laughs, maybe we'll get some return.

The weather here is virtually the same year round in so cal. I can't wait to try an outdoor crop. What part of the country are you in? Time for a dab of some double diesel...cheers

Update on the vegetation station: The Aurora seed #1 and Blue dream from seed were male so had to pull them. The Aurora OG and Cheesey smurf are female. I was hoping 3 of 4 would be female but at least we have 2 good ones.

The clones are rooted...they look super sad now but at least I know they are female

1st grow is just about complete. Gonna start flush tomorrow.

I am seeing red hairs...kinda have 2 plants that must go in the tent now because they are in flower now...should I let this go for a few more days then flush for 7?

imho, she's got longer than 10 days....but idk anything about your grow or preferences

Thank you for the response. Was looking for opinion because I have no idea lol. I will let it keep going but I want my other 2 mamas to get in here asap since they switched to flower already.

This baby has been flowering for so long...culminating factors in play... my ph was off a bit, and I vegged her for very long time, led light too weak... I am happy but she is taking forever.. Will keep it going since each day there are more triches...that is all we want.

Oh...and I topped this beast a lot which likely stressed the Blue Dream out...You can see sooo many colas. One reason I believe the LED light is plenty but was too close is because the leaves yellowed a scoche in the direct footprint. The colas on the outer edges which you cannot see clearly, are the chunkiest.

You're welcome. What do you mean they switched to flower? You control the light cycle, right? I'm stoned and confused, haha. If you veg for long enough, they will get preflowers, but they won't start budding until you switch to 12/12.

hey could any one help me , im a first time grower and i wanted to try hydroponic growing. i will use a small 3x3 tent and i still need help with picking my lighting as well as a strains that will produce well for the space i have. can anyone help guide me i have a 500$ budget

switching to flower = switching from 18/6 to 12/12 ....whatcha smoking? cheers man

Those aren't done they got 2 weeks more at least, way too many white hairs still hasn't gone thru the bulk phase (last 2 weeks ). You can chop them now but you will have premature buds probably good for a head high or hash making.

Hey Darth, agree with mcp and yoda, if you can swing it, you could go 10-14 days longer imo.
