you can vent to the attic and make a big permeneant hole, or you can take off the door and put up some panda film. I went with the latter, never looked back. the black/white poly film is easy to cut through and easy to mend w/ duct tape. It is heat resistant (somewhat)... are you worried about stealth?

dude, you are lucky to have a big closet, get a 1000w cool tube in that bitch and fill it the fuck up with shrubbery.

You will need at least 600w. Also, make sure you disinfect everything, and take out carpeting. and seal that room up. Vent through the attic is perfect.

Perfect, get 2 400 watters, 1 6 inch inline can fan, carbon filter, and 6 3 gallon containers. Fox Farm nutrients, some sensi seeds, and you got yourself a good situation.

Good advise thrown at ya. I doubt I'd go with the 400s tho, I have 400w lights and wish I had gone with the 600s. More versatility.
If you can get it, Panda film is the shit. I got some this grow and It's like adding another light!!! I had to buy 100' x 10' and have over 3/4 left, but it's well worth the money. Go with the attic vent and you should be fine. Just be sure to allow air IN as much as you are blowing out. If you keep negative air pressure in the closet, odor should not be an issue. Put a carbon filter in your vent to keep any smell from others if you are in an apartment setting.
