First Time Grower Help

Well I just put my order in a little while ago. Hopefully the post office don't snatch 'em up...

I've read a lot of stuff about growing but, I'm still not sure exactly what I need...

Can anyone make a quick little list of the essentials? Such as what lights I need, what I should place the seeds in after germination and what type of soil I'll need... and, if I'm missing anything else...

with lights you have alot of options but first you must decide on whats best for you and how may plants you wanna grow and were you wanna grow them.you can buy a few cfl lights you can buy at home depot to start off But if you gonna be a long time grower and wanna get the best.i wound recommend at least a 250w hps for flowering and a t5 or 125w cfl for vegging.You would also need a small fan,nutrients,high-low thermomiter,timer,and a ph meter,humidifer or dehumidifer(optional),and of course pots and soil.You should start off slow with bag seeds and work on you growing skills because you will have problems such as,overfeeding,ph balance,humidity,and air.im new to this myself and i have also read internet sites bought marijuana books and magazines yet im still haveing trouble growing.This little hobby will be expensive so i hope your ready to dish out some cold hard cash.Oh,i would recommend you to buy your lighting supplies at High Tech Garden Supply so far they have the best lowest prices.What kinda of seeds are you gonna grow and were are you gonna grow them?

Thanks for the help...

I ordered the "Big Bud" from Nirvana... I'm not growing to sell I'm just not trynna shell out 50 bucks a week for some good herb ya know... I'm still trynna decide if I should grow in my closet or right in the corner of my room. I don't need to worry about parents or anybody finding out...
