first time grower- 1000W w/pictures

wassup ya its my first time posting, not sure how to really make a thread but i been reading a lot on here, getting ideas. an trying to learn new things

SETUP:

20 plants
10x9x8 room
XXXtreme hood 8'
valuline ballast 1000w
1000w hps bulb
centrifugal inline fan
phat filter 8'x39'
hydrofarm timer
wall mount fans

FOOD:

advanced nutrients part A/B

42 days flowering


i bought some new stuff putting it in after i harvest, doing a new setup.

i also bought another hood but don't have a picture of it.

raptor 8' hood
co2 20lb bottle w/regulator
T5 4f 8tube

sentinel chhc-4

baddass 1000w hps

baddass 1000w ballast

the truth i really don't know, i bought some plants off my buddy an i clone them he doesn't know himself.

does that look ok for 42 days?

for a 1000watt i'd say no, cuz that shit looks the same as my 400watt at that stage.....

damn thats a lot of money invested to not know what strain ur griowing man. lol. i wouldnt have even paid for them without knowing the strain.

it looks good. and caligreens probably has less square footage than u do. more wattage = more square footage of light coverage u have and more lumens. u have a pretty decent sized area right? if u were growing in a 2x4 closet then yes that would look a bit small. plus it depends on the strain and its genetics. besides caligreenzzz might be growing in a smaller area compared to where u r growing.

well, its a very nice setup and the plants arent bad for a first grow.quite good actually.

healthy looking too. thats a fine achievement in of itself, in a first grow.

sure, could be bigger, but he´ll get it dialed in later and maybe its a more potent than yieldy strain.

plus, wheels is right, thats a bit misleading pic sizevise.

yes i liked it cuz im actually getting to the point of knowing what im talking about for the easier stuff. lol. should have joined this site a year ago. lmao.

yeah,forums are a great way to learn (plus just getting into a community of likeminded people (isnt actually that easy normally, for us )

yeah man ive learned. lol. this site is pretty pimp compared to a few others ive tried in the past. still getting the hang of the postings and stuff tho.

nice grow..if you didnt want to go to teh 2 light set-up..i put in a track (grow light mover) in my 8' x 12' room..i was able to get light to more plants (from a 12 plant grow to 16+) while maintaining teh same yields per plant..but if you can afford teh extra light i'm sure thats teh way to go 2x 1000w..and yeh..who cares teh strain as long as it does waht its sposed to..call it wahtever you want ;P
