First Time Grow

Found some seeds from super lemon cheese so I decided to give it a go...
Just wondering if my plant is doing well.. I don't have any nutrients or food for the plant. just a 30watt light.

Plant is okay... It's streaching a lot due to low watt light output. Plant probably doesn't need nutrients at this time as the soil probably has enough in it for now. Each time you change something like adding light the envirnment will change. Adding light brings temps up... Get a fan and give it a little simulated breeze...

What about putting it outside? it's been 8 days since I started.. what would you recommend to stop the stretching?

A better light 30 watts Isnot gonna get her done

I see no perlite . Does your soil drain?

A 40watt light is all I can afford for now... I keep about 6-8 inches away.. it's on 18/6 cycle the soil dries up in roughly 3 days after watering.. is that normal? or should I buy some perlite? I've noticed some discolouring on two of the leaves I'll post a picture soon.

Hello again, I went out and got a new 90watt light with a fan.. would this be too much for the plant when it's used to so little?

Nice little stretchy plant there....I'm still new to growing but u can use 1 23w CFL which is equivalent to 100w if u only have 1 plant...and u can put it really close to the plant to prevent the stretch buddie...GOOD LUCK

Place the fan so that it simulates a gentle breeze - This is generally thought to make the plant stronger. Just don't blow the hell out it and it will love you for the wind. In nature wind blows the oxygen off the leaves as it makes it... It kind of piles up on the leaves in cellular form. Blowing the oxygen off the leaves makes it easier for the plant to continue on making more oxygen. That's my understanding of it - saw a video of it years ago...

Don't expect a monster yield but that 90W will do much better than what you had before. Your plant is so long because it was literally stretching to reach closer to the light, but you should see that change.

Yeah I see it, it has a few new sets of leaves, grown an inch or two since last update. I'm not just having a problem with the smell lol
