First time grow with mr. Growpro

Lol thanks! I deff think I was over reacting a little when se first poped up. I also think it was because I had 3 27k bulbs in at the start😌😌😌😌😌😌. Now I have 2 65k and 1 27k.

The only other concern I have is I bought a $5 thermo hydrometer from lowes and I don't know if I trust the readings. It records the high and low temp but the high says 90 and the low is 70. The box is in a room on the second floor In air conditioning set around 75.

I can touch the bulbs with my bare hands and its really not that hot. It deff does not feel like 90 in the box hopefully it's just a faulty reading

That's about right, my readings in my pc case were about the same. I wouldn't worry so much about that. Just make sure that you're not over checking them and that the lights are nice and close.

Yeah 90 is not optimal but they will grow, slowed maybe. They grow outdoors in temps higher than that but they have great air flow.

my temps are at a nice 80 and humidity at 43 but its cuz im runnin leds
id have to admit it still feels hot in my room but at least they have the fans directly on them!
so between 70 to 85 is good i read.

She's a little warm in there, 90 is pretty hot. Do you have a fan blowing air around in there? Could help with the temps.

The intake and exhaust fans move a good bit of air and flutter her around a little bit but I need to find a small fan I can plug into my power strip hopefully that will cool it down a little bit

frozen water bottles wrapped in a rag brotha itll get it colder int here
Great suggestion!!
Try keeping the door open for a while, that will cool it down (can't if you're stealth). Are you using anything for a carbon filter or is anything obstructing your outtake fan? I had doubled up on my outtake fans in my pc box, sorta stacked them up on one another, this worked really well.

or if for some reason you cant open it cuz stealth reason maybe have a fan blowing on your pc or around it.theres a few different ways.
with the leds iv been at 88 degrees hottest and around 64 coolest on average im at like 79 if it gets to hot i just do the water bottle trick and turn up my room fan.
keep the room your box is in nice and cool and there shouldnt be to big of an issue iv learned.:peace:

Yeah I have 1 intake 2 exhaust but I do have a carbon filter over the exhausts on the outside. Frozen water bottle sounds like an excellent idea I am going to try that. The room the box is in is in the 70s. Maybe I will try a combo of fan on the box and water bottle

yeah it defiantly cools things down in there. the fans in the grow pro have been enough for me temps are perfect iv only had it to hot in there one day
but it wsas like 100 degrees outside and like 80s in the room. and the frozen water did the trick

try taking the carbon filter off for a little bit. If the girls are small, there will be no smell for a while yet. That will stop restriction of air flow and should lower the temps.

Sorry or not updating In a while guys I have been in Vegas for the past week! I am heading home today but my friend/partner has kept me updated and everything seems to be doing alright. The water bottle trick didnt work and temps and still around 90 so I need to figure something out?!

yeah it has to frozen solid and open it its raise the humidity but itll get down a few degrees. if anything put a fan faing the boxing pushing cool air into the other external fans.
iv kept my temps down pretyy good with taking off the carbon filter and having fan push air onto the pc or atleast near it,then the bottle trick for an hour or so temps should go down a few.
iv been sitting at lows with the lights off between 71 and 76 then llights on is like between 79 and 87 sometimes.
and thats all i do and im pretty sure thats just fine.since its like 107 outside for my out side girls. lets seee some pictures when your backkkk:bigjoint:

DAY 18 UPDATE

just got back from a nice vacation to Vegas and checked on my girl today. She is looking really good! Temps are still high so I think she is growing a little slow. I don't see any more yellowing or discoloration in the leaves so I am happy. Here are some pics comments and criticism welcome!!

Since she is almost 3 weeks old I was thinking about starting to lst her so I can scrog her soon. My plan so far is to bend her over to grow horizontal then when she is at the desired length scrog her then flower.

Any ideas on that plan??

lst let them stretch lst lets them lose.
lst till they get the height you want then let them lose again until they stretch into the screen.
