First Time for Extraction - ADVISE NEEDED

Hello.
After harvesting 9 (x 30" Skunk#1) Plants I have a considerable amount of sugar leaf trim (SLT)
(over a pound - possibly two???).
The stems and fan leaves are on the compost, this material (SLT) is the frosty stuff, trimmed away from the nuggs.
I also have approx. a pound of popcorn nuggs - which I class as 2nd rate quality.
(The more solid nuggs are 1st rate quality and their value makes using them for extraction unfeasible).

The 2nd Rate 'Popcorn' may be used for extraction or may be mixed in with the 1st rate stuff,
I don't know yet

But the SLT is no use UNLESS it's used for an extraction - which I am eager to try....

It's the very first time I will have attempted to do anything like this,
(but this was my first grow and it's gone brilliant so, with a little help, I don't see why a successful extraction can't occur...?).

BEST EXTRACTION METHOD FOR A BEGINNER???
ISO 99.9% is available (at £25 for 10lt).
Butane gas is easily available - if a certain type of Butane is needed
(a type that CONTAINS/DOESN'T CONTAIN a certain substance
or has been FILTERED 3 or 5 TIMES.....) then I need informing.
I will have to gather together all the necessary equipment,
whether it's coffee filters, plastic tubes, pyrex dishes.... I'll need some time.
The quicker I decide on a method,
the sooner I can compile a shopping list and collect everything that's needed.

Funds are not unlimited....but I will be able to spend some money.
If I will need an item that is quite uncommon (a vac chamber or something)
I will need guidance on the best model for my needs.

dry ice hash all the way. all you need is a 5 g bucket, the "work" bubble bag, and about 5 lbs of dry ice per pound of trim. freeze hard after breaking up ice and chhopping trim for around 30 minutes, turn upside down with work bag over bucket on a glass table or in a plastic box, shake. processed in 45 minutes, dry as a bone. better anything investment and time wise if you know how to grade it and activate it!

this should be your first step even if making iso or butane oil, you will use way way way less solvent per gram of material if you dry ice refine your raw product first before making your oils.

I did research and I am going with isopropyl alcohol as a solvent (you can use Everclear)

I'm in Britain where Everclear is (1) Extremely hard to find, and
(2) Prohibitively expensive (like, more money than the actual bud, expensive!).

Is it distilled in platinum flasks by the unwed members of the Japanese Imperial family, or something???
