i need opinions is there too many tops? It's 8 plants under a 1000w hps in a 5x5 tent the canopy seems pretty even maybe a 2-3 inch difference between some tops. It's my first attempt I'm tired of using stakes and want to get a better yield I'm in week 2 of flower so the stretch should be stopping. And I defoliated everything under the net

I'm no scrog master but that looks pretty good to me seeing as how theyre about done..if not done stretching. i don't think there is such thing as to many tops. looks like your screen is pretty full. once buds are established and start bulking up might add another layer of trellis for top support if they start falling over instead of using more stakes. just my .02

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking maybe adding another trellis for support since there about 8 inches over the screen. Other than that I'm just hoping I get a nice yield. I made mistakes on my last run so I ended up only harvesting like 12 ozs off my setup which is really bad for a 1000w hps

Russet mites got introduced to my grow from an outside clone. I had to throw away 2 plants and lost the bottom half of a few of them. I managed to still get something tho lol

Nah man, looks great. Should be a good grow.

I'm Subbed. bongsmilie
Thank you! Only thing I'm a little concerned with is how much they stretched when I hit flower. If u see in the pics the nodes are a good distance apart. I'm wondering how much that will affect my yield.

That can happen from time to time, if anything just take it as a lesson...and next time keep the light a bit closer during the stretch. Also, if you really wanna get those nodes closer together, you also can do something like an "alfalfa seed sprout tea" during the transition period/stretch period and that will help a ton.

i finished my first scrog about 4 weeks ago, went great from week 3 till end of flower, i hated constantly tucking my stretchy tops and hated harvesting.

was by far my best yield tho, trying a sog next
